It seems thing are getting worse for the poor guy. It's pretty sad and must be heartbreaking for his family if he can't even speak anymore. Hopefully he is able to find proper care and comfort with those who care for him.

I heard about it. A local news station was talking about it this morning and talked about him being shaggy

They covered it on the Today show today. This seems so baffling that no one seems to know where he was moved to.

this often happens when the family (like the wife and kids) fight over who is best fit to take care of the person. i imagine the kids will hld this against their mother for a long time if Kasem isnt found safely.

It's interesting though in looking around the web there seems to be two different variations being reported here. It seems the previous belief was that his wife had the right to move him and moved him without his kids knowing.
But the way it was reported today on the Today show they read a statement from his wife saying she herself didn't know his current whereabouts. Which of course if true is even more bizarre.
EDIT: I suppose it's also possible they attributed the attorney's statement that he himself didn't know where he was, but the way they presented it on air would make me think she herself doesn't know.

This whole thing is rather odd. My thoughts go out to his family.

Good news in that he was found. Turns out with his wife on an Indian reservation in Washington state. So I suppose not as a bad as it could have been. (except if you are the media, good going NBCU )
