********** CONTAINS SPOILERS ********* So I read a bit of a review of the full film, someone watched it in full. Blue Falcon really is retired and that’s Brian, his son, who’s a bit dumb. Idk if Dynomutt is still Dynomutt, but maybe not. Also they said the movie was awful and was more of a Blue Falcon movie where Shaggy and Scooby helped defeat Blue Falcon’s villain So its already out in a few places? Or is it a secret screening? There have been leaks out of the test screenings that have been posted on certain forums.

I will likely be skipping this movie. This movie honestly feels like they are only making it just to get younger generations into Scooby again.

Could have meant anything by that. Maybe millennials like me, generation Z, etc. Of course that's just guessing, but it would be weird if he was complaining about it being kiddish considering it is a kids movie based on a kids franchise that just so happens to also have a lot of adult fans like us.

May I suggest creating a new thread for gossips, spoilers and discussions about them? This thread should be exclusively for verifiable news.

********** CONTAINS SPOILERS ********* more of a Blue Falcon movie where Shaggy and Scooby helped defeat Blue Falcon’s villain Yawn. Sounds like another "Shaggy and Scooby get all the glory" snoozefest. This is the exact reason I hated Get A Clue. S&S have no business getting involved in matters of supervillains.

Sounds like another "Shaggy and Scooby get all the glory" snoozefest. This is the exact reason I hated Get A Clue. Get A clue restructured the writing to deal with there being just Shaggy and Scooby and had them doing a lot more than just their usual antics. The problem is that3 Shaggy and Scooby's antics just can't carry a 20 minute show let alone a whole movie. It's almost like the writers are saying well we could put some time and efforts into showing the gang doing #the clue thing' develop their characters some more, have some meaningful interaction between them and then shrug their shoulders and just slap in another five minutes of Shaggy and Scooby running around in terror screaming.

I take it you guys didn't like the 80s films or that Goblin King film than? Judging by the spoilers it sounds like will some emotional Shaggy and Scooby moments besides the usual hilarious scenes they have so why would you say that?

Judging by the spoilers it sounds like will some emotional Shaggy and Scooby moments besides the usual hilarious scenes they have so why would you say that? As a child, I loved the 80's movies, except for Boo Brothers which felt too long. As an adult, I can really only stomach Reluctant Werewolf. Unpopular opinion, Scrappy's presence in those three movies makes them tolerable. It's not just Shaggy and Scooby, there's someone actually competent around. I absolutely LOATHE Goblin King. I hate it with a burning passion. Because again, it's just Shaggy and Scooby, with no one competent around. And it also has the laziest trope of all time, the "mind wipe so it technically never happened" at the end of the movie. Makes the entire film completely not worth it.

Actually, only Fred and the girls can't remember any thing and since they didn't experience what Shaggy and Scooby did why care so much about that part? The theme of that story was courage.
I guess since Shaggy is my favorite character I love films that focous on them the most. I never saw any issues with these films and am looking forward to this one too. If your a fan of Fred and the girls I can understand your annoyance towards them.
I'm surprised you didn't like the Boo brothers film, many people say it feels the most like Scooby than the other 80s films.

I'm surprised you didn't like the Boo brothers film, many people say it feels the most like Scooby than the other 80s films. I think Goblin King did a good job of making Shaggy & Scooby's heroic status true to their characters and earned. I didn't really care for it in Samurai Sword since the beginning of that movie is about Daphne taking the gang to Japan so she could practice fighting and then suddenly, Shaggy and Scooby are the brave warriors instead of her. I agree that the 80s movies using Scrappy as a stand-in for the rest of the gang was a brilliant idea even if those movies are clunky. Get a Clue had to completely rewrite Shaggy's entire personality to make the premise make sense. I think that series is great but it was a badly thought out idea and could've used oversight by people who understood the franchise better. Funny enough, this movie seems similar to how I imagine Get a Clue would be if it had more respect for the source material
