I'm actually craving for the things that were labelled the worse by the reviewers.. you know, complicated story, boring monologues, character design and darker vibes I agree. IIRC one of the review said there were 8 pages of Velma explaining what is going on and why. This more Lord of the Rings storytelling that The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Just called my shop, my copes should ship today or tomorrow. With the whole DC Universe rebirth it's a busy week for comics.

I've seen the relevant page on Tumblr, Daphne 'slugger' Blake for sure. I'd say she has a very short fuse, she almost breaks Fred's nose and it looks like SHaggy had to step in and stop her from clobbering Velma. But again, circumstances are 'stressful'.

Hopefully this is less about just poking fun at Scrappy, and hopefully making him into a three-dimensional character that is trying to protect the group he's with. Maybe he has friends similar to Duke and Annie, from "The Ransom of the Scooby Chief". I hope that they don't destroy everything that made Scrappy Scrappy before like this in the process. Even if this takes place in the apocalypse, I want to see some sign that Scrappy's still there, and it's not just an "in name only" thing. And so far that's what it's kind of looking like.

I'm not a fan of Scrappy but he deserves a fair hearing in this comic. Why does he feel like this towards Scooby? Is there an alternative to the initial path he has picked etc.

It's just everyone else still has something from their core characteristics. Shaggy and Scooby still have eachother, Velma's still brilliant, Daphne's still trying to make it big in the TV industry, and Fred's still trying to keep everything together...what does Scrappy still have?

Scooby Apocalypse Trade Paperback #1 (containing issues #1-#6) is released on the 1st Feb. If anyone has a look in one are there any extra goodies inside (e.g. concept art etc)?

Everything sounds so great! I WANT A TV SERIES FPR THIS. Velma looks so good in the pic with the drone but Shaggy is still my highlight. Im curious how theyll develop Fred and Daphne tho I'm thinking the same, or more specifically if the any of the cast voices could fit this style. I'm not so sure. I've decided to give the comic a second chance, but I don't know if I'd be ready for a TV show.
