I'm on page 40. It's a pretty good story. Nothing to do with the Scooby Doo movie.

Finished. So the Mystery Machine is shown to be Fred's in this script. Fun story, honestly could have been made into a movie just fine I think, though it would have been a bit overboard with Mystery Begins as well, since both are trying to explain the gang's origin. Anyway, worth a read. I laughed out loud a few times. It's written pretty well, especially for 1996. I believe some of the concepts were later turned into Zombie Island Alien Invaders and Mystery Begins.

I found the link at the Reddit page.
And yeah, really odd how the writer wanted to recycle all the old names.

From what the few pages I read it looks like it could've been used as a sequel to Mystery Begins.

The script surprised me for 1996. Lots of language and innuendos for a Scooby movie, though... Wow lol. Scooby even swears!

It sounds really interesting. Haven't read it yet, but it did focus on scooby and the mystery, and no shipping and unnecessary drama?

It was written by the same guy who did the 2002 movie. Shipping is the act of pairing off two characters romantically. The finished product which was written by James Gunn, had elements of Craig Titley's script.

Yeah, Fred and Daphne. And Shaggy and Kandy. It's not very similar. Different writer?! Oh I had that wrong
