Did anybody catch the refrence to Frozen in this episode with Scooby dressed as Elsa? Yeah, I wondered about that, too.

I thought this episode was better than "Scary Christmas", but a tad redundant.

I thought this episode was better than "Scary Christmas", but a tad redundant. Or repetitive. I always end up mixing the two.

I liked Fred's headwear. Made him look kind of cool, inspite of the ascot.

Im not enjoying this series as I did for the first part but it was a good episode. Those continuity errors made me wanna kill somebody but it gave me the feels of WNSD snow mysteries after all. Im still mad about the fact that there was a storm going on before they jumped then it became suddenly sunny. I feel like the animation is getting worse instead of improving. I think Im fine with only a season of Be Cool..

It was a really cool winter episode! I did mind the continuity errors though with Shaggy never having seen snow. The snowman was pretty good, plot was fine. Other than the continuity, no other complaints. Actually it might be one of the best winter episodes! Will definitely be watching it next winter.

Yeah, yeah, this one was written before the xmas one. In fact, they decided they wanted a xmas episode pretty late in the game and I had to write "Scary Christmas" really quickly to air it in time. I totally wasn't thinking about "Be Cold" and the whole "Shaggy's never seen snow" thing and solving a snow mystery, etc. Oops.
I also hear what you guys are saying about a feeling of repetitiveness and assure you that as things move along, we really start pushing on the characters more and explore new areas. It's about here when we finally felt we'd figured out the show and began to get more playful. Some of my favorites coming up in Season one include "El Bandito" and "The People vs. Fred Jones." Season 2 actually starts to get pretty insane (in a good way).

I must be knocked out until it airs.

Yeah, when I started writing the show, Daphne was my favorite and the most fun to write, but as things have gone along, Fred has developed the most as a character and I find him just as much fun to write and craft episodes around him. I'm glad you're liking him, too. It's funny, considering that in 1969, when the show started, Fred and Daphne were the least developed, cardboard personalities in the gang.

You've really taken Fred from his cardboard 1969 character and made him into a fully realised and believable character (I'm glad he didn't turn into a Freddie Prinze, Jr. type). And to have Frank doing all of this, is a bonus.
