The 13 Spooky Tales DVDs seem to come out every May, but I haven't found any news on one yet.

We have yet to hear about any new specials earmarked for this year.
I would say two factors might be at play here. The first being the usual schedule may be off this year if they had to do anything specifically to the WWE sequel that required the to rearrange things. I think this might be possible because this year WHV's press releases haven't been as usual as often. Plus they have plans to release two series DC dtv movies quite close to one another. I think this might be a sign they had the change the schedule around a bit.
The second point is, given it is 2016, there's a good chance if there's a new special it may be put on a set with the rest of the laff-a-lympics. And if that is the case, the set probably won't physically come out until late july or early August. Which as far as betting odds go, the longer we don't hear about a special, the higher the chance it may be this option.

I was really hoping for the rest of the Laff A Lympics to be released too, although it will be interesting to see how they handle it. Generally the sets are 13 episodes (including the last Laff a Lympics set), but there are only 8 episodes left to be released (and a special would only make it 9). Although, the "Laff a Lympics: Spooky Games" DVD was renamed as "Laff a Lympics: The Complete First Collection" on WB Shop, so that hopefully means a better chance of seeing Season 2 released.

Yes, but Spooky Games itself had 1 new special 8 unreleased episodes and 4 double dip episodes from the earlier volumes. I would assume the partner set to Spooky Games would include the other four double dip episodes not on Spooky Games to again make it a 13 episode set. Of course though the other point could be the case and it's not laff-a-lympic related. But time should tell.
