Exactly. When it comes down to it the idea of Be Cool (or what I presume it is) is that each episode is meant to be enjoyed as it is, aka you could jump in at any point and enjoy/understand the episode since as you put it jcb there isn't a "over-arcing story." Though the episode do all join together to some extent they can stand alone too...if that makes any sense. In short time of the year doesn't matter that much when it comes to Scooby (unless it was an SDMI-esc thing), with the exception of if it was a Halloween/Harvest Festival/Christmas/Easter/ epiosde, since for those the time of year is quite important. Exactly. That said, as a writer, I'm as sucker for running gags and callbacks, so for those paying attention you WILL notice episodes referring to other episodes and reoccurring jokes and ideas. Of course, none of those things would get in the way of any particular episode standing alone, as well. I mean, in some ways, we make this show with the assumption that everyone knows what "Scooby Doo" is and its basic characters, themes and history. I haven't been here for like 2 months for no reason lol, but I must say BC It's getting more and more hilarious than ever and still far better than most of today's cartoons, thankfully it's getting more viewers as it airs, even with the messy schedule that CN/Boomerang has, I must recognize that here in South America (where I live), Boomerang airs one episode every Friday, so it keeps the time line and the viewers for the show , the only thing that annoys me is that for some reason they changed the original voices from the Spanish version to new ones (and considering that the gang always has the same voice actors in Spanish, it sounds awful now :'c, but it's kinda watchable and you get more adapted to it if watch the show many times). Still It's not a big deal to me because I watch the show In the original language too (English Version). Even if there are still people that don't give it a try, people are liking it and appreciating the show even more, and they kinda try to invite the non-sense-haters to give it a watch (At least on social media) which means #FREEPROMO . About the timeline on BC, I always though about it as their "Holidays" and not their "Summer Vacation" . In resume: the show is amazing, I can't wait for the new episodes and the new Season , keep working like that, you're all doing a great job PS: I know I already said it but could you please make at least one Hex Girls episode, they're amazing and already are like a part of the Scooby series (Saying this If you didn't make one for the first season already, since we don't know :v hahaha) It would be really appreciated .

That could be interesting. I won't lie, it'd be awesome to see the Hex Girls in Scooby Doo again. However I wouldn't want them in unless an episode would naturally form around them per say, if that makes sense. Basicly I wouldn't want the girls being shoehorned in for the sake of it. I'd want them to be important to the episode in some way. For exmaple let's say there's an idea for an episode with a band involved in some way. They could use the Hex Girls there instead of making up a new band. I would say I wouldn't want to see them in Be Cool since I'd hate to see them in that art style, the major negative point of Be Cool for me, however with how few appearances the Hex Girls have had I'm all for it at this point...as long as they're wearing outfits which at least somewhat resemble their original outfits. But I can't see them really working with the style of the show to be honest. Be Cool is about funny and not "spooky" whilst the Hex Girls were on the more spooky side of Scooby. Still we never know, an idea might just pop up for an episode where the Hex Girls would be perfect for it. What'd make me smile quite a bit though if their was a poster on a wall, even a tiny one, advertising them at some point in the show. That'd be a lovely little reference/easter egg. Not a big in your face poster, just one in the background somewhere.

Agreed Maybe it could be a Halloween episode (like the Christmas one) but spookier :v Something about an old witch cult that re-appeared for some reason and the Hex Girls had something to do with that in the past, the girls would be the "clue" or "key" to solve the mystery, or the cult had something to do with an old music box that can only be open with an purified musician soul... (Or idk, lol, but something like that but more elaborate would be great )

Have they at least graduated high school? Because Velma could've applied to Kingston before graduating.

Still it'd have to be a bit more spooky than the normal Be Cool episode to work well though...then again knows, the writer's are quite talented so they may pull something suprising out of the metaphorical bag! That'd be a cool idea but the word "cult" seems darker than what Be Cool is going for. Still just change that to "group" and I could see it working. Maybe the girls's (or just Thorn's) ancestors were part of the witch cult/group. Anyway we're off track (in a good way). Back to the discussion about when the show is set!

I never cared for timing on any show, but I care for consistency. I know episodes can be watched in relatively any order (some more than others), but for more knowing a real underlying order helps for me. To know that the sea creature case not only airs after, but is set after the Zatari Warrior case for instance.
