By far one of the greatest alien episodes!! The beginning reminded me of the Alien Invaders movie. The top secret base was awesome too. However, two things didn't catch my fancy. 1) The lack of a chase song. The show is so cool with them that the absence of one here was too noticeable. 2) The alien. I had my hopes up that this would be the Space Kook remake so I was disappointed that it was a classic alien. To tell you the truth, I really was expecting the creature to find a suit in Area 53 and then be the Space Kook, but it didn't happen. I hope we see him in a later episode though.
But overall, an epic alien episode! Great humor and so naïve government people!

There was supposed to be a chase song over the big alien ship chase sequence but we needed too much of the dialogue and SFX in the scene to make a song work correctly. And,as far as Space Kook, goes, just wait...

This episode was amazing, best alien episode there is in the franchise. I don't think there was a single thing I didn't like about it.
I honestly expected this episode to be with the Space Kook too, but I think this episode actually worked better with the other alien.
The general was hilarious, I especially loved the Monkey Security Ward joke and "something you would say if you were caught by teens in the '70s" line (can't remember exact dialogue). Scooby's line during the interrogation was funny too ("Are you an alien?" - "Nope" - "I think that dog's story checks out").
Maybe I just missed something, but I didn't get what was supposed to be funny with that guy trying to be accepted by his peers...
Overall, amazing episode with a great plot! 11/10 (and no, that's not a typo, lol)

I wrote this one with a great friend and comedy genius, Tom Konkle (look him up online and check out his sketch comedy. Brilliant). The "accepted by peer" thing was just a silly runner I added to give that poor guy locked outside a little arc. He felt he had been locked out of the compound on purpose because the other guys didn't like him personally, then when it opened, he thinks he's finally been accepted by his peers, only to be locked out again. I know - if you have to explain it, you failed

I only caught the end of this episodes (Daphne and shaggy on the spaceship) but it looked really fun. Daphne wanting something like dr who adventures was funny.

One of my favourite episodes period! Daphne's idea that alien are nice was really funny and when Shaggy revealed she's hanging out with a bunch of weirdos in a weird vehicle everyday I lost it. The interviews, the attempt of unmasking of the scientists by the Mystery Machine and Shaggy saying sorry to Fred and Velma when they're in the elevator were funny as well. The sky chase scene was also pretty cool! The reason why the villain did it was also unique. Can you tell I loved it?

The chase between the Mystery Machine and the alien ship was great! At first, I was disappointed that there was no song, but I'm also glad they didn't use just an instrumental version, because that wouldn't have really suited it either. I was really expecting the Space Kook in this one. I wonder what one it will show up in?

I like how they were detained and interrogated, while at the same time kind of shocked and thought it was really cruel how Scooby was put in a muzzle because of the overly paranoid Colonel Peterson. I did like how Daphne turned the tables during her interrogation, and Peterson broke down a little, and then quickly recomposed himself.

Is the campsite in the opening/where the gang are driving at first in Nevada or Roswell? - He who has to ask this.

I didn't really think about it, but I suppose they have to be in Nevada since they pass Area 51 - although they could have driven up from New Mexico and across Arizona in the military convoy TO Nevada. Whatever makes sense - that's where they are in the beginning. And if nothing makes sense - I blame others.
