Alright, great summer episode! I liked this re-imagining of the Beast from Bottomless Lake. The underwater Mystery Machine chase was very James Bond-like, loved it!! The chase song was awesome, the music generally fits the show perfectly! Velma not knowing how to swim was funny when Fred tied her on Scooby, and Daphne's fued with dolphins was... strangely funny. Why would she owe them 15 dollars? Favorite joke was the van's gender! FRED: You never know when she'll come in handy. SHAGGY: Like, the Mystery Machine is a girl? SCOOBY (looks under the van): How can you tell? Laughed so hard I had to pause the video!!! XD XD XD So far, this new series feels really fresh.

I love how self aware this episode is. I like that we meet Fred's cousin. I love that Daphne owed the Dolphins money.

Not a particularly interesting episode for me. The sea monster thing has been done a lot.

Still odd, though, as I'm not sure who's Scooby one would be used is NOT Welker's. Don Messick was Scooby's first voice from 1969-1996, Welker didn't take over until 1997. You're actually off by a few years, Doo. Welker took over in 2002 with What's New, Scooby Doo? A nitpick, I know.

thee was a break between Messick's death in 1997 and whats new, plus we had the video films, which was their own thing.

This was a pretty good episode. The cruise setting with the gang bringing the Mystery Machine was fun. The underwater scenes were cool and I actually liked Daphne's quirk. Velma was kind of annoying
