Why not,at least have them save collect the last ghost. So many direct to DVD's features, why not let one of them finish the series up?
Any one agree?

With all the buzz and open doors, this is a thought that crossed my mind too. However while Scooby is the biggest property whether they'd jump into it, without having tested the Scrappy waters is a bit murky. Also we'd need a better Vincent Price impression.
There are several HB shows with open ended quests it would be nice to see closure on. And 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo is probably the most popular of them to be considered.
But there's no counting chickens before they hatch. I'd like it, it's possible but right now I'm not calling it likely.

I'd like to see this too, or at least a 22-minute episode to wrap things up. Although I don't think they will ever do that at this point.

It's probably a bit too late for it.

Odd that it was never finished.

The only possibility imo is if they did complete more episodes but cancelled before they aired. But my guess if they did lose would have been long released by now for money grabs. No way they use the animation from back then now.

I would love to see this, but unfortunately 4/6 character's voice actors are gone. I can't imagine Heather returning either without Casey, she stopped voicing her character when he stopped (appearntly because they refused to make Shaggy a vegetarian). The special could be a nice tribute to them though.
Unless they re run the rest of the series a lot, then they could throw in a new episode or two I can't see this happening. Heck it be easier to have a second season of the show and start off with Daphne giving Velma exposition on what has happened since she left, so then new viewers won't be confused.
I hope this happens, but I'm doubtful. Fingers crossed anyway.

Wow, I actually always thought that they quit for separate reasons. That would make sense though for why they quit at the same time.

Well she did work with him since she was 19 for 15 years, returned with him for Johnny Bravo and those two films. She possibly just skipped over What's New because she didn't want to go back to working on a regular basis or perhaps she didn't like the modern depeticion of Daphne. If that's the case, I would've loved to have seen her reaction to the live action movie's Daphne.

Interesting. Mary Kay Bergman did great in the 90s films. Too bad she checked out.
