I did a Google search and potentially found more info: www.videowarehouse.myvideostore.com/content/movies/index.html?client=videowarehouse&id=167502Release: February 10, 2015 (video) It’s one giant step for dog-kind as Scooby-Doo and the Gang blast off for an epic, other-worldly adventure in this all-new original movie! After winning the last 5 seats in a lottery, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma are off to space in billionaire Sly Baron’s brand new ship, the Sly Star One. It’s all gravity-free fun until a mysterious alien begins destroying the ship! As the ship breaks down, the crew is forced to land on Sly Baron’s base… on the dark side of the moon! Will the gang unravel this alien mystery? Will Scooby-Doo and Shaggy find snacks on the moon? Will Fred ever take his space helmet off?! Journey to the outer limits with Scooby-Doo to find out! Not Rated 72 Minutes I'm REALLY glad it didn't come out this week with the Brandon related tragedy .

More info... I'm kind of worried as WBShop doesn't list a Bluray The DVD only listing at WBshop definately confirms it, the new Scooby Doo DTV movie will be DVD only in the USA. I can only guess this means the Blu-Ray releases of previous Scooby Doo DTVs sold poorly, compared to the DVD releases. The worst part, is there is clearly no chance of more Blu-Ray releases of the older Scooby Doo DTVs, if the recent Scooby Doo DTVs aren't selling well enough.

It may be that the BD wasn't selling well enough. The thing about DVD players is that they are all over the place, pretty much every laptop and PC comes with one, basic ones are dirt cheap and you don't need a HDTV to watch one. BD is caught between the cheapness and ubiquity of DVD and the HD streaming services. I'm guessing many of the disks will be brought for children, most won't be kitted out with a BD player and a HDTV of their own. If the DTV's weren't selling well enough then they would stop doing them and you wouldn't have WWE coming back for more. Most HDTV's do a decent job of upscaling, mine upscales to 1080i so there's not much difference, certainly not enough for me to buy a player and the disks I already own. Ultimately I expect the margins on the BD are lower which means you have to shift more product but the volumes are lower due to the cost difference for the consumer and the saturation of DVD.

It's possible that the Blu-Ray will be released after the DVD version is released like the older DTV.

No, the Blu-Ray and DVD have always been released together, since Warner Bros started releasing their DTVs on Blu-Ray. The first Scooby Doo DTV released on Blu-Ray was Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare, which was initially a Walmart exclusive.

Well, ALOT of homes should be kitted with Bluray Players called the Sony Playstation 3, and more recently the Playstation 4 AND the new XBOX One are both Bluray Players. But, the youung kids, yeah, it might be an issue. I'd hoped about 50% of US audience had gotten a BD player by now. I'm gonna keep on keeping on, and we all need to shoot them emails. I am sick of this crap where the BD is not coming out but it's BEEN OUT in HD on streaming services... That irks me. I want media, in HD. If you don't give me the upcoming 4K in media, fine, almost nothing I want ever needs to be in that format. I just want HD Classics and i'll call that fair.

Amazon changed the release date for one week later, February 17, and so did the official WB shop.
