In some ways crossovers are a disservice to the gang themselves. The WWE and KISS crossovers just trashed Daphne to no end. Having said that I think Batman would be more inevitable than Tom and Jerry, and more realistic, too. I would like to see Bruce, Dick, and Alfred all in the film (with three-dimensional personalities). There's a panel in "Man Bat and Robbin'", where Man-Bat carries Scooby and Shaggy in the air. I think it'd be really cool, from a visual angle (if it was done right, of course), to see Man-Bat carry Scooby and Shaggy through the streets of Gotham City, with the pedestrians looking from below. Ideally, to bulk up the roles of the other three, maybe they could aim a little higher (and a little older), if Daphne got a gig at a Gotham newspaper, and the rest of the gang came along for some sightseeing. A romantic subplot with Daph and Dick/Robin (done right), and Velma noticing a connection between Bruce Wayne and Batman. Velma's supposed to be this great detective, and this would just be perfect for her. A movie this good and entertaining would never happen.

Scooby meets Indiana Jones! That would be neat. The time periods would clash though. Hmm.

Crossovers are very easy to do badly. WWE and Kiss while they had their moments suffered from the need to do the crossover bit, or filler as it often appears to be. The first part being said there are some which could work, Indiana Jones, Batman... The characters involved already need to be traveling in the same direction as the gang, solving mysteries, fighting crime etc for there to be real purpose in them joining the gang. And while we're on the subject of a Batman crossover...

Scooby could work with Ace! Fred could check out the bat mobile and Shaggy could become evil and join forces with the ventriloquist! It be nice if they used Adam West Batman like they did in the original, but I'm doubtful.

He proved he could do a less campy version in the last two incarnations of the Super Friends. He may sound a little older now, but he does reprise the role every now and then.

Adam West would be better than Frank Welker's parody of Olan Soule.

I remember seeing that somewhere. Its by ScoobyKun. on DeviantArt. Check his Bat Velma Series folder and his Just Velma folders for more Doo related art. He also did this for me as a commission (which in itself could become a crossover, thus getting the thread back on track )

Comic companies sometimes get together, so maybe IDW, who do most of the CN titles now, could team-up with DC's Scooby-Doo! Team-Up. IDW did do a similar Powerpuff Girls Smash-Up title, so a Team-Up/Smash-Up crossover would be cool. To actually go beyond simple bumpers and whatnot. IDW have kind of taken it slow with CN at the moment, though.

I agree with the people who already mentioned the Cthulhu Mythos and Elvira. They already did Batman now, so to add something new...how about Ghostbusters (classic versions), Godzilla, or the classic Universal Monsters?

Tom and Jerry wouldn't make sense in the world of Scooby-Doo. Sure, they did it with Jonny Quest, but having Tom and Jerry team-up with Scooby? No, thank-you. I personally agree. I think Scooby has been shown to be a slight bit more realistic than Tom and Jerry, once you get past the fact that he's a talking dog. In Tom and Jerry, Toon Physics are used constantly throughout the whole movie. In Scooby-Doo, those same toon physics are kept to more of a minimum.

I agree with the people who already mentioned the Cthulhu Mythos and Elvira. They already did Batman now, so to add something new...how about Ghostbusters (classic versions), Godzilla, or the classic Universal Monsters? I'd still like to see Scooby meet Gilligan. For non-Americans, Gilligan's Island was a sitcom from the 1960s. It focused on seven wildly different people who got shipwrecked on a deserted island and came together as a surrogate family to each other in order to survive. Gilligan was the bumbling young first mate to a good natured but often overwhelmed Excursion cruise skipper named Jonas Grumby. Despite having a reputation for having a short temper, the Skipper actually had a lot of patience. It's usually worn thin by Gilligan's stupidity to the point where Skipper Grumby hits him on the head with his hat. Also on the island were greedy tycoon Thurston Howell III and his snobbish wife Lovey. Despite the very blatant flaws in their characters, the Howells still cared about their fellow castaways. Most of the cooking was done by a sweet teenage Kansas farm girl named Mary Ann. Mary Ann is often shipped with Gilligan by fans. Also among the group was Professor Roy Hinkley, a high school science teacher who designed rather primitive versions of appliances and tools the castaways had grown accustomed to. Finally there was rising movie star Ginger Grant. A typical episode involved the group trying to get themselves rescued only for Gilligan to foul it up.

Gilligan was played by the same guy who played the lovable beatnik Maynard G. Krebs, the inspiration for Shaggy.

...Also among the group was Professor Roy Hinkley, a high school science teacher who designed rather primitive versions of appliances and tools the castaways had grown accustomed to... How can a Professor be a high school teacher? In my son's school have a few teachers with a PhD in their field, mostly the sciences, but none would ever be called a professor. A professor is a Head of Department or senior academic in a university.
