Really cool Valentine special! It must have been a bit hard to think of a villain, LOL... Valentine's Day, what villain could they use? The clones worked out just perfect! I also liked it when Daphne said "Was Sarah Michelle Gellar too busy?"!

Good episode. I like that they made the extras look like the voice actors. Daphne's Sarah Michelle Gellar comment was a nice touch too.

I thought this episode was interesting....especially the anti-Fraphne part! I think it was one of the better episodes of "What's New Scooby Doo", although I can't stand Grey DeLisle and Mindy Cohn.

What I remember the most about it is J.C. Chasez of N'Sync dressing up full-body as Scooby-Doo. Imagine him doing that in REAL life... though I think I could make a better Scooby-Doo than him; I already have the costume though I plan to improve it to bring it up to that quality: I doubt he can even do the voice! (I need to work on mine.) (The mask I plan to get commissioned wouldn't be the "evil" Scooby, but it would be more like the mask from the Ape Man episode.) Though back on topic, it was rather cheesy. I mean, the Mystery Inc. impostors kidnapping teenagers at Lovers' Lane? That's an unusual crime, compared to those couple of comics where that impostor Scooby gang was robbing banks and stuff to frame them (though they had a REAL dog instead of a human in a Scooby suit.) And as for having J.C. Chasez guest star, obviously this may have been because they couldn't get Justin Timberlake or anything like that (this show did have some lame choices for guest stars, compared to "The New Scooby-Doo Movies.") And I wonder why there wasn't any snow or whatever on the ground, like in our area on Valentines' season?

Wow that was a treat! One of the more unique episodes I've seen - a clone gang as the monsters and the only (as far as I know/remember) time when the celebrity guest was actually the "villain"! Also (again AFAIK) the only episode featuring the gang at home!

I like this episode. My favorite part is how (spoilers) J.C Chasez did it. It was hilarious that they actually had a real person do it.

Here's a picture I did yesterday of me as the evil Scooby clone from the special... Of course, that's me in my rubber Scooby-Doo mask (by Rubies and Mask Illusions) and modified body costume (also by Rubies), with the glowing eyes added via Photoshop. I would've shot the photo outside, but it's all snowy out, unlike in the special where it practically felt like spring! Hmm, I have to say, I think I'd make a better Scooby-Doo than J.C. Chasez did!

This was a super fun episode to see the gang go against clones of themselves. It was funny to see JC Chavez as the villain. I also loved seeing the gang's houses in this episode and the town they live in in Whats New

Just a warning for y'all: if there is ever a Scooby Doo episode guest starring myself I am going to request to be the villain Not that that would ever happen of course. In season 3, they started doing what I would call novelty episodes where the main point is "Here's an interesting gag to make this episode unusual". Some examples include this, A Terrifying Round with a Menacing Metallic Clown, E-Scream, Camp whatever it's called, etc. Some of these are better than other, but this is hands down the best one in my mind. It's very meta without being condescending on what we love and it's just great. Cheesy? Yes. Excellent and a ton of fun? Absolutely
