The villain was cool, but I preferred the name he was given in the Unmasked game. The episode was satisfying, I must say.

The new movie is probably inspired from this episode.
The milkshake machine is pretty entertaining. Also how the mystery is solved.

This was a pretty fun episode. The Gene Simmons inspired villain was pretty neat, and it was fun to see the gang run around in a music studio, fictional or not.

This was a good episode. It had a very original Disc Demon villain. It also had a fun original setting in the music studio

I'm amazed at the animation during the initial scene when the Phantom attacks Tony, how it's very full and high-quality for Hanna-Barbera standards. I remember the "Make a Beeline Away From That Feline" episode having similar high-quality animation when the Cat Creature and Scooby were fighting in the elevator. Maybe once in a while in the 1978 season they'd have slightly higher-budgets to work with and they'd take advantage when necessary. It's pretty interesting how they were clearly influenced by KISS in designing the Disc Demon Phantom. Maybe it was because that same year, Hanna-Barbera produced the live-action TV movie "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park" (and that was what no doubt inspired "Scooby-Doo and KISS: Rock & Roll Mystery" 43 years later. In fact, I just managed to buy an officially-licensed latex mask of the Disc Demon Phantom... It fits kind of large on my head, though (compared to Rubies's Ghost Clown, Dr. Coffin and Scooby-Doo masks I also have!) but still makes such a great collectible!

Plot: Another good episode. I liked how there were multiple suspects again, and the mystery was interesting. There were some weird moments, though, and some jokes stretched more than they should.
Monster: I don't know if this was intended, but the disc demon was quite similar to the demon from the band KISS. I love KISS, so that's an extra point. He had an awesome design in general, and his voice was creepy. The only bad thing about him is how he always threatened Shaggy and Scooby that he would catch them, and he never did. 9/10
Finals Score:8.5/10
