A Mantis Monster... Original, but still not the best for me...

"There's probably lots of bugs in the garden." - "7 Feet tall?!"

**SPOILER!!**
So the professor was a really good actor and had to have walked really fast...pretending to sleep and changed back into his sleeping gown after kidnapping Daphne. No police show up at the end. Did he even get in trouble?

Good episode. I'll admit the first time I saw it I didn't actually suspect that The Professor was The Mantis Monster, so the episode really threw me off in that regard.

The animation was kinda off and so was the plot. The Creature and unmasking was original though

I think this is one of my favorites of the third season because I was completely thrown off seeing it as a kid and the fact that it was able to do that makes it pretty solid. I would've seen it coming now because of Velma screaming how she solved the mystery while he was leaving behind a clue but I'll look past it. This is one is good I'll take it

I always thought the mantis monster was super cool and this episode had a darker tone compared to the rest of the season.

Very underappreciated episode. Loads of kooky characters and an extremely unique minster that I find very memorable. The perpetrator was far too obvious, come the end of the case but it was a fun little mystery in the Botanical Gardens. My 2nd favourite of Season 3!

Plot: This is an underrated episode. I loved this one cause the mystery was great due to the many suspects and the nice plot twist. I also liked the botanical gardens as a set-up. Seeing the gang investigating them was enjoyable. 10/10
Monster: The Mantis monster was creepy and original; I liked it. 8/10
Final Score: 9/10
