One of my favorites of the show! The Cat Creature was really creepy, especially when it had cornered Scooby in the elevator, I was freaked out!

I love how Shaggy and Scooby go to find the 'easy' address at the East Westmore 13B (or whatever it was).

The Cat Creature was legitimately spooky, especially those striking eyes. Otherwise it was a pretty damn good episode. It did seem weird how they made Hascul all suspicious looking near the end in the hotel, but had his character dropped entirely, but I guess that was just the animators trying to throw a wrench into who the real culprit was, it was obviously regardless too. Good episode though.

I liked this one a lot as well. I do feel they could've done more with the crime which could've been very interesting but it felt a little underwhelming. I'm not sure what would've made it completely click to be a top tier episode for me but it's still solid regardless

Just out of curiosity ... Did you notice that the animation seemed to completely change from this episode onwards? The character models and cell colours always seemed a bit odd to me, in this style and it kinda splits the season down the middle, as the back half of the season had a look all its own.

I have seen people notice that the animation is different. It might have been somewhere on this website if i remember correctly (but not sure where) that suggests this season in particular might have been helped by a Japanese animation company or something. Wherever that information is probably can make that make more sense than just what I recall, but you are not alone in noticing that

Plot: This episode has more or less the same plot as the vampire episode from S02. That's ok, though, because it was a pretty decent episode. The mystery with the jewel heists was interesting, and the creepy cursed medallion that transformed Daphne's aunt into a cat monster was an awesome storyline. PS: What happened to Hascul's character? His suspicious actions were never explained. 8/10
Villain: The cat creature is a neat villain. Scary with a great design and a mysterious nature. I liked it. 8/10
Final Score: 8/10
