Well, not one of the best, but really enjoyable.

the design of the snow beast was awesome one of my personal favourites and I think the flow on the continuous snowing animation was excellent

The ice caves are super cool. Loved those as a kid.
The dog sled and snowmobiles.
Lots of funny moments too.

This one isn't too memorable. Literally, I always forget it.
Wait, I just realized this is my 300th post. But I only had 170 this morning!

I like this one a lot. The Snow Beast has a cool design, and some of the images freaked out, particularly when they mistake the opening ice slopes for The Snow Beast. Good stuff.

This episode seeemed to bring back the Where Are You vibe to me. Nothing special but good. A really cool monster design and some fun ice cave scenes Yeah, especially with the use of those older Ted Nichols music cues. It was interesting hearing the Native American motifs from the "Ghost City Hotel" track being left intact, particularly in scenes involving the totem poles (which does seem to make sense.) What I mostly remember about this episode is Scooby-Doo's crush on that female sled dog, always heating up in excitement over her. This comes in handy when he's encased in ice, and the sled dog is well aware of Scooby's feelings for her and so she starts sniffing on the ice, causing Scooby to heat up and thaw out! It was cute when the sled dog would flirt with Scooby at times. Anyone else also notice it looked like the falling snow was live-action? It's especially obvious in the first few minutes, as it looks a lot like the live-action snowfall effects Disney used to always use in their cartoons. But when it snows again later on, the flakes move more slowly, but they still have that live-action look (especially the way the flakes, which appear to be potato flakes, kind of flip and turn as they float down). They apparently just slowed down the live-action snow footage to superimpose it over the animation.

A relatively weak episode, especially for a winter themed episode. Not bad, but mediocre. Should be better

Never been a big fan of this one. The Snow Beasts design and roar are scary as all hell but the mystery really wasn't anything special and the animation style was really off-putting, at points.

I agree. I see this one often listed among the best winter episodes and it just doesn't come close for me. Even beyond the obvious suspects for that type of setting like Watt a Shocking Ghost, That's Snow Ghost, Ghost of Bigfoot, Simple Plan, etc. which are definitely among the best, but I would still rather watch the more obscure Rocky Mountain Yiii or Snow Place Like Home in comparison to this one

Plot: I don't know if this is a controversial or unpopular opinion, but this is one of my favorite episodes. Interesting mystery, funny humor, and a nice wintery setting—but most importantly, one of my childhood favorites. I have seen this episode a billion times, and I love it. 10/10
Monster: The snow beast is one of my favorite villains. His great creepy design, giant size, and dinosaur resemblance are the main reasons. 10/10
Final Score: 10/10
