Cher is a straight up savage in this episode, she doesn't hold back with the sass and I love it. One of the few truly great episodes of this series. You can tell the writers were fans of Sonny & Cher's tv show because they nailed their dynamic

You can tell the writers were fans of Sonny & Cher's tv show because they nailed their dynamic I'm rewatching the series because I bought the Almost Complete Collection, and I'm on episode 9. Gotta say, the lost episodes (Phyllis Diller, Sandy Duncan, Sonny and Cher) are hands down the best ones so far. Not counting The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair, obviously. The Batman episodes are the crown jewels of this series.

I was re-watching some of these episodes in preparation for the Guess Who? premiere. I recall thinking this episode was kinda boring, the last time I watched it. I still kinda feel the same way, but there were some good gags in there, and I was a little surprised by some of them, i.e. "You better be married, if you have this many kids" or "Nothing will happen to you on your honeymoon". I don't recall other old Scooby episodes that had quite this kind of jokes. Granted, it made sense given the guest-stars here. Also, at the start when Sonny says he forgot (well, sorta) the spare tire, it looked like there was one on the side of the car.

I'm guessing there must've been a cut scene of Shaggy and Scooby using that secret elevator at midnight to go down to the cellar to look for more food. Shaggy mentions so later on in the episode and it could be a cool part of the story to see. Shame!

This is one of the greats. I agree that they truly nailed the dynamic of Sonny and Cher. Absolutely wonderful performances from Sonny and Cher make this one for the ages

My favourite of the series. Even though certain bits (like talking to Milo at the foyer) are completely dragged out to fill time, I still think this episode fully justified a longer runtime. Much prefer this shark creature to the one we see a few seasons later & the Hideaway Hotel was a such a wonderful creepy setting.

A pretty enjoyable episode, Cher was a savage to her husband. I wonder how it will workout in Guess Who

Plot: I am a huge fan of sharks, so I liked this shark-centered mystery. Also, Mr. Meekly's evil plan was brilliant, and I really enjoyed it. PS: Cool plot twist in the end. 9/10 Set Up: The shark island, the hotel, and the cave were all cool settings. If the sharks were real, it would have been perfect. 8/10 Monster: The shark demon has a cool design, and I believe he is one of the most memorable villains of the series. Also, the scene where he attacks Shaggy and Scooby in the boat still gives me chills. 8/10
BONUS Guest Stars: Sonny and Cher were okay guests. Cher especially had some good lines, but other than that, there was not much to say. 7/10 Nostalgia Boost: +0.5
Final Score: 8.5/10
