A indi film studio is making a SDMI movie! Scooby-Doo: in Friday the 13th, it will be a cross-over between SDMI and Friday the 13th. I know it's now a real thing, but i'm really excited about it! Scooby Doo Network Center Argentina is reporting about it on facebook and their site. it's being made in Brazil according to Scooby Doo Network Center Argentina. So it will be in Spanish. Here's the poster!

I hope it will translated in English. I'll probably still watch it though even if it's not translated and just read the subtitles.

Here's some more info on this. (I had to translate this using Google Translate because it was in Spanish. Because of this, some of the sentences are a little jumbled): The gang go to a Holiday Camp, a camp but not any. Located in a remote area of Crystal Bay, "Camp Crystal Lake" is famous for being haunted by the legend of serial killer Jason. Daphne, Velma and Fred are choosing not to be involve in their investigations, that the climate of "vacation" is not affected, then end up starting a covert investigation with the possible help of Scooby and Shaggy.

Is this with or without the permission of Warner Brothers? If it isn't I'd expect WB's lawyers to make the producers lives full of interest and drama.

The plot sounds pretty good! And no it is not made by WB, as far as i can tell, it has nothing to do with WB. So yeah they will more then likely get in trouble. Though i don't think they're selling it, so they're making no profit, so they might get away with it! hopefully cause i really want to see it! Though since it's a Indi film i'm a little worried about content. I don't want them to put bad language or nudity in it. I want it to be at the same level as SDMI. Except if they were to add HDW into it and make Velma and HDW be a couple, i would totally fine with that! lol

It may also depend on how they are getting the content. Are they animating it themselves or are they simply stitching together bits of SD:MI. They may get away with it if it is the former, if it is the latter then they will probably get blown out of the water.

I'm not sure... But i think they are doing the animation, and not reusing SDMI's animation.

Non profit fan films usually are ok by the studios unless they are offensive in some way. BUT the second they try to distribute it for money, they'll get the lawyers unleashed on them.

Yeah they better not try to make money off of it. On my fan series I'm not doing anything in which I make money, not even kickstarter or other donations
