This is my favorite episode of the New Scooby Doo Movies and one of the best Scooby episodes of all time in my opinion. It had a great plot that hadn't been used before, and some really cool looking villains! Btw, I'm actually watching this episode right now as I type this .

I always really like this one. It's by far the best Globetrotters episode.
I also think Scooby/Shaggy/Meadowlark/Curly made a funny 4 person dynamic

This is one of my favorites in this series. I adore the Globetrotter's appearances, it always makes for a good episode. I loved how they included Uncle Nat, he reminded me so much of Shaggy. The Paul Revere scene was one of my favorites. Also , the villains had all that greed, just to be fooled by a movie set, and I just loved that.

The best episode in the series in terms of settings and ghosts, where Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair was the best plot.
This one is the most classic essence of a Scooby Mystery (what you would get up on a Saturday before dawn and wait for Scooby to come on at 8, for), with the spooky countryside, glowing ghosts, the score used when the one with the lantern appears on the roadside and then vanishes (to me, the most classic scene of Scooby's career), and of course, the huge mansion full of secret passages and laundry chute, and the ghostly lantern glow coming after them down the hallways and up the stairs. Also throw in a double plot with two apparently unrelated "haunts".
The title to me was silly, as "Loch Ness" is only a passing reference in the story. May also make one think of the later inferior stories where Scooby actually visits Scotland's Loch Ness. A better title? How about "Run if by Land; Shoo if By Sea". This perfectly captures the double mystery setting of it. The plot is potentially spoiled in that it is quickly obvious who are the culprits. The giveaway is "let's get them out of [the cove]", and then the serpent appears. This is also the only episode of the three that does not include a Globetrotters game, other than the performances they do for the gang.

Totally agree with everything in this review, this episode is my favorite of the whole franchise, and the ghost with the lantern scene is iconic!

Best of the Harlem Globetrotter episodes. Lots of good gags and a genuinely nice mystery, with the obvious culprits.
Also the ghosts freaked me out in their introduction scene, the first time I watched it. The limited animation really helped, no doubt.

This is my second favorite of the series. It really captures what a series of hour long episodes could be. It has the creepy road scene with the ghost and great music. It has a giant mansion, Uncle Nat, revolutionary ghost, and a sea serpent. I loved that it's a double haunt

This is definitely one of the best episodes from TNSDM and probably the only episode that I would say fully justifies the 40 minute run-time due to the double haunt and clever switch of locations to stop things getting boring. The Minutemen ghosts were genuinely really creepy, especially when the gangs first run into them out on the desolate back roads ... Classic stuff!

This is my favorite episode of the entire franchise for many of the reasons you've outlined. I feel like this episode/series get a lot of negativity so it's great to know someone else likes this episode too.

I do love the reveal that the villain's plan was always going to fail even without The Gang's involvement

When some ask me to recommend them some episode this will always be one of them. The monsters are creepy and I love that they are themed around Revolutionary soldiers. Wasn't a huge fan of the serpent, but besides that this episode is one of the greats. The guest stars were funny and worked well with the gang.

It seems to me that Shaggy has some pretty smart relatives. I would have to say that the nose runs through some of the family members because of Shaggy's uncle Beauregard.
I do agree with the people above me that this is the best of the Globetrotters episodes.
