I think this was an excellent introduction to an amazing series. I loved the addition of the Mystery Flying Machine, and that Scooby's obsession with rubber duckies saved them all! Daphne turning into a werewolf was a nice twist and showed how close she and Shaggy are at this point. Scooby singing was just hilarious, as well as Shaggy trying to reason with werewolf Daphne! We really got to see the dumber side of Scooby and Shaggy here when the are choosing their "prizes", I loved it! The use of classic Scooby music was also great! Daphne was given an excellent redesign, as well and Shaggy's slight alterations. Vincent Van Ghoul is an excellent addition to the cast, and Flim Flam is tolerable. I'm also glad Fred and Velma were excluded, as they were completely unnecessary at this point. I love that this breaks away from the traditional mystery solving and goes into more adventurous territory for the series.

I agree! The perfect pilot for the perfect series! Though I keep thinking that what got me into this show was Vincent Price whom I heard in Michael Jackson's "Thriller", as well as the fact that there are real ghosts around.

Best pilot for the series! The airplane was a very nice change. Scooby nailed that song though! The rubber duck was the cherry on the top though.I loved the werewolves and werewolf Daphne.

This was a really good pilot torn an underwhelming series. The werewolves and adventure were great. The plane and temple was cool too

A surprisingly good pilot. I'm only a bit confused on why the town left Vincent alone for so long, but I suppose him and Flim-Flam are friends and Vincent is smart enough to protect himself and Flim-Flam from the werewolves. They changed before the usual sundown when they saw the gang as a more vulnerable target. Vincent wasn't surprised by this and Flim-Flam may have been surprised only about them changing into werewolves before the usual sundown. It would suggest that Vincent has lived there longer than Flim-Flam and seen it more. I picture werewolf nights sorta like I Am Legend, where Vincent has to hide until daybreak.

Probably one of the best pilot episodes in the franchise. I don't mean one of my favorite episodes that happens to be a pilot, but in terms of actually working to set up a series, it does very well.
