Do we know yet why Mindy didn't return to voice Velma in this version? I'm looking forward to this now that I have Boomerang! They thought Kate was more fitting for the role Velma plays in this series.

People are very upset over Kate playing Velma! I think people need to give it a chance!

People are very upset over Kate playing Velma! I think people need to give it a chance! I don't like how people are already upset over the series either when it's not even going to air for another month. I'll admit I wasn't a fan of Kate in some of her other work, but after hearing her in the LEGO short I'm really looking forward to the new Velma voice.

I agree that the designs aren't the best, but they've grown on me. The comedic plot is not something that will bother me, since SDMI was dark and we need a break. I'm sure that the show will appeal to a lot of Scooby fans, don't be hasty to judge it, give it a chance!

You know, I just thought what could be so cool in this show: Daphne and Shaggy's friendship!!!! I mean, in previous series Daphne was, you know, 'Shaggy, yeah he exists...ooookay' because they didn't hve that much in common. But now that Daphne is going to be the funniest and weirdest of the group (which gives me goosebumps cause I think it's gonna be so cool) I think will turn out sooo well because I'm sure that they will get along with each other more than the others. In fact, in one of Zac's roughs I posted earlier you can see Shaggy laughin at her puppet joke. Since they are working so hard to give us their best personalities I'm sure they will give us some really funny Shaphne moments!!! What do you guys think about it?

Sort of related, but they revealed Wile E. Coyote's character design for BCSD's sister show, "Wabbit: a Looney Tunes Production." The show is employing similar drastic character redesigns, and the result isn't pretty... Seriously? That's not even CLOSE to looking like how Wile E. Coyote really does. It's already causing quite a bit of hubbub online, just like "Be Cool, Scooby-Doo" currently is. So first Warner Bros. Animation redesigns Bugs Bunny, then the Scooby-Doo gang, and now this! Does Warner Bros. now think the old character designs are too "dated" or something? If only for "Wabbit" they stuck with being closer to the classic designs, like the "What's New Scooby-Doo" episode "New Mexico, Old Monster"... It has much better animation, and is more true to the classic Looney Tunes style (and is also better-animated than that "Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run" movie was!) Though imagine a crossover of "Wabbit" with "Be Cool, Scooby-Doo." Or if Wabbit's designer Jessica Borutski redesigned the Scooby gang as well (if she already didn't do "Be Cool"'s designs.)

OK, first of all, I love this design. I mean we're trying to evolve, we can't always think about the past and for me we're evolving in better! Second, I've seen three promos on youtube of Wabbit so I guess BCSD promos are going to air soon, which leads to Three, I was trying to find out where that picture came from and it was from a freaking new amazing promo with BCSD in it. I LOVE IT. Laughed so hard when Scooby shows up wearing that dress. It's soo cool. Also I have the feeling that the Scooby Doo part lasted longer than the others (luckyy).

Holy Scooby Snacks, that was SO cool!! And oh yes, they did give more time and emphasis on Scooby! The Scooby dress scene slightly reminds me of "Scoo-Be or Not Scoo- Be?". And we've got a new villain!! Those are awesome news, thanks for sharing, scoobylover!
