Came over here to post this, not sure exactly when they did it, but it's interesting. Remember "Scooby Doo Spooky Games"? Well on WBshop at some point they renamed the product "Scooby-Doo! Laff-A-Lympics: The Complete First Collection DVD"
Given this set contains half the run of the series, with another half still to go this new name bodes well at some point (2016 perhaps) might see a "Scooby Doo! Laff-A-Lympics: The Complete Second Collection DVD"
It should be noted this new name only seems to be on WBshop, so it's clearly an internal WB move, but what other reason would they have to rename the product if not to market it with another set later down the road?
And for historical perspective, WB's slow launch back into season sets makes me think some of my theorizing here may have been right all along in what their goals were. Since to me this weird decision has to have a motive. And i surely hope it means in two years we'll get the rest of the series on dvd.

I think it's possible they will release "Scooby Doo! Laff-A-Lympics: The Complete Second Collection", you have reason. But it would have been better they launch the remaining episodes + the World Cup special instead of "Field of Screems". It's just my opinion.

That was done back in... was it December? I think it was in December or earlier. Didn't pay close attention to it.

If it means another DVD set is coming out some time, that's awesome! It is odd that they renamed it though.

Hopefully this means a Laff A Lympics Season 2 release!

If I recall correctly, the Spooky Games DVD was missing 4 episodes that are in the earlier Laff-A-Lympics Vol. 1 & 2 sets. So if this is indeed the complete First Season, they probably changed the name to better indicate that those episodes have been added.
Also interesting is that Amazon shows the Spooky Games title for the DVD, but the new Complete Collection 1 for their downloads. Did the WB site use the new title for both the DVD and downloads, or just the latter?
At any rate I certainly hope this means Season 2 is on the horizon, but they've used terms like Vol. 1, Vol. 2, etc. in the past, and then never followed up with additional sets, so we'll have to see.

I believe they will double dip those four with the 8 unreleased episodes if/when(although given they are slowly putting out more HB sets at retail, so i feel a lot safer in 2014 saying "when" where as before i would have said "if". Of course when saying this we only have 3 releases in 3 years to go on for a pattern, but for other WB shows, they went back to finish sets they started earlier years later, so the precedent in 2014 is looking at least probable at this point.) they release the other set.
Since as you notice the word "season" is no where to be found in the new title, since it's technically not the complete season, it's just a "complete first collection". I think WB just trains it's employees to love word puzzles like that. Since it seems to happen a lot in press releases and WA responses on facebook and twitter.
