Thanks! I've been a colorist with Heroic Age Studios for 22 years. I've been coloring the Scooby comics among others for about 10 or 11 years. In the last few years, I've had a hard time holding onto it though. In the next few months I will be coloring for DC directly instead of Heroic Age. Scooby and Looney Tunes were the only 2 books they had left and I was the only colorist. So you can look for me….Candace Schinzler-Bell Years before the Johnny DC books I colored many of the mainstream DC books, but not being a comic geek I REALLY ended up being at home coloring the kids books. I also just worked on the 1st 2 issues of Scooby/Batman Team up books. I've also worked on some Scooby Doo children's books for Dalmatian Press and Capstone along with artist Scott Neely. There were four "You Choose" books by Capstone that came out last year and there will be 4 more this year. Unfortunately, I am not credited on these titles because I will be working for Scott directly instead of Capstone.

Welcome schnzchx, and thank you for the insight! It's always great when we can have a talent who has worked on a Scooby project stop by and share some behind the scenes stories. It's safe to say, I have all the scooby issues that you have worked on

Thanks for the warm welcome! After years of not being appreciated and stabbed in the back it's nice to be where I'm appreciated. Comics is rough industry….it's all about who you know and not what kind of work you produce. Sad but true. I've worked with Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, Archie, Capstone and Dalmatian…but nearly everything was credited under Heroic Age. That video monster was my cover, but that horse is not. Recently Warner Brothers has really come down hard on staying very close to the style guides, which are flat. So you will begin to notice that the covers will be more and more simplistic in regards to the characters. The last cover, #47 I just colored was extremely light airbrushing on Shaggy and Scooby.
