It's great to hear that the film is that enjoyable for you! I'm also pleased to read 24994j's comments that it ranks up there with Camp Scare, Zombie Island & Witch's Ghost, which are among my all-time favorites. You guys have upped my anticipation for Stage Fright Agreed!!!!

As you may know the movie is available for rental only at VUDU as of today so I finally had the chance to watch it. It's a great film! It's alot more comedy oriented then the others but still has some action moments that will keep you in suspense. Also for the Daphne/Fred fans this is definatley the movie for you since their romance is heavily hinted throughout the movie. The phantom is very unpredictable to figure out and you will see why as you watch the movie. Here are some fun facts: 1. There are 5 phantoms in the movie. 2. Fred and Daphne kiss. 3. Fred and Daphne sing together. 4. It's discovered that Fred sleeps with a net. (LOL) 5. During the end credits their is a clip that leads to the gang finding their next mystery. 6. Scooby-Doo doesn't realize he's actually a dog through the movie. 7. There isn't a "What's New Scooby-Doo" theme song as aluded in the credits. (hopefully next movie) Overall great fun film that's fun for the family to watch. Recommended. On number 4, I would expect no less from Fred It sounds really great!!!!

I desperately need to watch it, I'm not known for my patience when it comes to new SD stuff! Can you say which site did you see it in? Was it free, did you have to download it? I don't want any of these.

I give Scooby Doo Stage Fright 5 stats easily! The action is great and the relationship stuff was balanced out nicely leaving a cliff hanger for the next movies to come. I have never enjoyed Scooby and Shaggy scenes more than I did in this movie! They're so entertaining and funny to watch. My absolute favorite part of theirs would be. (Shaggy) "Like Scoob, I can't sleep!" (Scooby) "Me either!....You want the bed?" I laughed so hard! Honestly, the sad part is, that is what owning a great dane is like! lol. I have a 20 month old great dane and she always has to sleep on the couch or bed. They are lap dogs lol

5. During the end credits their is a clip that leads to the gang finding their next mystery. I'm sorry to spoil this for you, but it looks like it's just a fun way to interrupt Fred and Daphne from talking to each other, leaving their care for each other still unknown to them.

Why wasn't I surprised Kevin Michael Richardson was in the movie? (I heard him as that security guard at the start.) Richardson seems to be WB's new Mel Blanc, as he's in most of the stuff the company has done since 2002... Aside from that, it was OK. Not as good as some of the others, like "Mask of the Blue Falcon" and "Big Top Scooby-Doo," but at least it wasn't as bad as "Music of the Vampire"...

Well, I didn't knouw the voice actor's name, but I immediately nderstood that he also voiced Dan Fluunk in Night Terrors.

One of the best movies of the DVD era. Easily a top 5. Great action and humor all around. I am really likind the last couple of movies. Finally they have gotten their marbles together. Throwing some stuff from old times makes it even better.

Am I the only one who didn't like this movie at all?
I hated the reality TV style, and almost all the contestants were unlikable. The Phantom of the Opera has been done to death, and this felt more like a parody than a mystery, with the multiple villains. The Fred & Daphne aspects felt forced, out of place (what happened to stronger Daphne of previous movies?), and were completely pointless in the end (forgotten again). The movie felt stretched out at times, like they couldn't even get enough plot for the short runtime.
I hope the next two specials are better, I really need some good Scooby-Doo after that terrible puppet movie, and this poor excuse for a movie.

Even though I did find the characters unlikable, I had the opposite reaction you did. I kinda liked the reality tv style{and I hate reality TV!}.

This was a poor excuse of a movie. All it did was show that WB wants to milk Fraphne for all it's worth. I couldn't stand Daphne acting like a love-sick idiot over no-personality Fred, who is yet again a trap-obsessed freak. The whole plot was just to try and make them a couple (again), and served no real purpose overall. They don't even get together by the end. Wow. What a mess, WB. The two are completely wrong for each other, and it shows with this movie. It did have it's moments though, I liked the darker sections in the sewers. "Homewrecker" was also awesome, I love Chrissy! 4/10, just for the sewer/pseudo-phantom scenes and Chrissy. I guess I'll add that I did enjoy the movie for what it was. This is just me being critical. I love anything and everything Scooby related, so this is entertaining when I don't have anything else to do. I've sat through this movie twice already.
