Oh wow, that's wild that it's based on "A Pup..." Pretty cool really, considering the nature of this product. This may make it a pretty neat purchase afterall, but I'll still wait on a few reviews first.
Wonder how they'll handle the 'dance segments!'.
Thanks for posting this info.

My opinion: It's... just... so.... beautiful! They are reviving APNSD through a puppet movie, which doesn't look like pre-school audience adressed. They added a lot of elements from APNSD, Scooby gets a Scooby Snack and becomes a rocket that blasts off from happiness. Can't wait to watch it!!!

Ok, it's like they crossed The Muppets with A Pup Named Scooby-Doo... I am buying!

Hi again! I found the synopsis! Get ready to experience the world famous Scooby-Doo! and Crew like never before in this all-new original puppet movie! What begins as a routine night for the Gang which includes the slobbering sleuth and Shaggy eating a triple extra-large Scooby snack pizza becomes a mad dash to find the frightening Phantom Parrot with a map to pirate Gnarlybeards hidden treasure. Scooby sniffs out the maps clues, which lead him right to a spooky pirate ship. Ruh-roh! What will Gnarlybeard be willing to do to protect his booty? The whole family will love casting off on this mysterious, fun-filled voyage again and again. Source: store.cineplex.com/store/jump/sku/CN_545755/Scooby-Doo

I've become much more interested in this project once I learned that one of the performers who worked with the Walter Muppet in the recent Muppets movie is involved.
