I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! This is my new favorite Scooby-Doo movie My picture in my signature is from the movie lol. This movie was really funny, had a lot of good scooby and shaggy moments in it. The dinosaurs were really cool looking. Had a cool storyline. I cannot wait to buy this movie on DVD as soon as it comes out!

A lot of good Scooby/Shaggy moments eh? So, I should buy it than? I have pretty much every Scooby film but this one.

'Twas an okay movie. Standard Scooby elements with an extra mystery added to it and a couple of interesting sub-plots. Scooby's coffee buzz was hilarious.

Got the DVD and watched it last night. Pretty cool.
I guess a funny little cartoon opening sequence and the talking GPS are going to be regular fixtures now.
I don't know about anyone else, but that ghost sailor/pirate story at the beginning is a movie I would liked to have seen!! The non-stop scream and Sixth Sense reference was great. And the coffee sequence with Scooby was hilarious.
Overall I liked the movie a lot, though I didn't think it was quite as scary & suspenseful as Camp Scare. It also seemed shorter to me than most. Only a little over an hour and I thought the previous ones have been around 90 minutes.
It was still a fun movie though and had some great action sequences. The hero-Shaggy and biker gang scenes were funny & unique, and both Phantosaurs were pretty cool. It's funny, but the biker gang and the grad-student Raptors reminded me a little of the SD:MI episode The Wild Brood.
Two mysteries in one was a neat idea too. When they unmasked the diamond thieves and destroyed the first Phantosaur, I thought "this was way too quick and easy...and obvious". I was surprised it turned out to be the paleontologists...because they just didn't seem like criminals...but their motives were a little different than usual and made them two of the nicer villains the gang have encountered. You almost hope Winston's jail time won't be too long. (It took me a while to realize that was Matthew Gray Gubler...my family are big Criminal Minds fans and I'll be anxious to see how long it takes them to recognize the voice.)
The cave-in sequence was really nice too. Overall this one seemed to be more of a comedy/action film than a scary mystery, which is probably why I wasn't quite as knocked out by it as the previous two movies. But they go back and forth that way between movies, and I'll definitely watch this one again.
Hate to say it, but one thing I don't think I cared for was a slight creeping in of the SD:MI format. Now I love SD:MI, but at times they make it fairly easy to guess who the bad guys are and solve the mystery...almost like it's an afterthought...to focus on the gang and other things. That works great for a weekly series, but for movies that only come out once a year or so I'd prefer a more traditional format that keeps you guessing more. I was glad at least that Velma was interested in someone outside the gang, and they didn't repeat that.
By the way, has anyone noticed that Daphne keeps getting darker? Is she supposed to just be tanned for the summer, or are they subtly trying to introduce a more culturally mixed look? Wasn't sure, and I haven't read anything to that effect, but it was a little different to how she's been drawn in the past.
Looking forward to the next one!
Mark

Just watched the film, which my son rated as epic, and was curious as to what Fred was graduating from? I only ever graduated from university.

Mark I'd have to say I agree fully with this review. Shaggy Hypnotized is priceless, as he keeps getting himself. BAD! i REALLY wish someone had been playing MJ's classic....
