I really love this movie! I just rewatched recently and I forgot how much I loved all the girls! c: I've also been into volleyball for the past year or so (breaking my foot in the process of course, but it's fine now), so seeing it in this movie really made me smile. I loved how Scrappy is displayed in a positive light in this one. I don't see how WB turned such a cute little puppy into a villain. However, this movie did give me nightmares as a kid. In fact, many Scooby things did, but little me still continued to watch because she loved getting scared and sleep-deprived I guess. (Ps - Patches is great)

Just a funny little side note, I saw a post on Facebook recently which is what inspired me to rewatch it. The caption was "I bring to you an ancient relic of the past.", with a picture of the girls and I just thought it was so funny c:

This was a charming movie, and the last film that showed Scrappy in a positive light.

Btw, sorry to hear about your foot!

The one thing I like about "Ghoul School" is Tanis, played by dwarf actress Patty Maloney, whose most noted voice role in the Hanna-Barbera universe was Darla Hood from the animated spinoff of The Little Rascals. I have to admit, I had a crush on the animated Darla in the 80s, and I had regained interest in the Little Rascals cartoon in August 2014, nearly 30 years after the Rascals was cancelled on ABC.
I remember back in 1988, the local CBC affiliate in Newfoundland (where I live) did air the trilogy of late-80s Scooby-Doo movies. It was that fall when A Pup Named Scooby-Doo launched on ABC, if I recall.

I just watched the film myself and found it enjoyable. It was uniqe and I loved the fourth wall breaking, LOL Shaggy wearing a scooby watch was flipping hilarious. The ending was pretty cool too, I looked at the dates of the films and thought that wearwolf film aired before this one, guess I was wrong.

The 80s TV specials really had something unique to them. This one is now exception. Love all the characters, my favorite ghoul being Sybella, but the rest are "Fangtastic" as Sybella would say lol. Thought Revolta was kind of a meh villain and I felt she was kinda underdeveloped. At the end of the day tts a fun movie that all Scooby fan should watch.

I like it enough. It's definitely iconic for Scooby but unfortunately I can't say I go back to this one as much as other movies nor that I like it as much as most people though

ToonGrin is looking back on Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School and it's... meh. Tune in! #scoobydoo #scoobydooghoulschool I loved it. Like all 3 Scrappy movies it has a fair share of padding to fill the 90min runtime but overall - I thought Ghoul School was a gem.

I agree, definitely if it was refined a bit more so it didn't feel as padded it be easily the best for me. But it's still a gem to enjoy.
