This one is fun, probably my favorite "real monster" outing for Scooby (this, and 13 Ghosts of course)! Loved the Wacky Races vibe.
Don't think the ending was vague at all. Plenty of horror movies have that "our heroes are not really out of danger" kind of ending without any intentions of a sequel - perhaps they were trying to play off that here.

Interestingly looking back several of the Superstars 10 films leave off with possibilities of sequels or going back to certain characters. Which then knowing they had ambitions to keep making packages as such makes a heap of sense.
But alas as we know only two of them ever actually got made, and neither were Scooby ones.

The Count doesn't have any reason to want Shaggy now that he's human again, right? I don't see any options for the count other than to haunt Shaggy for a while and get bored. I'm not sure a sequel was ever in the works.
