Ok I'm shocked no ones made this thread yet seeing as how its out already some what. I did love the film, it kind of reminded me of Scooby-Doo 2 live action and those New Scooby episodes where Shaggy and Scooby got framed at times. I just wish Shaggy got to help Scooby in the big finale number, he was in just as big of mess as Scooby was and helped to the very end, why not give him credit? Matter of fact if it wasn't for Shaggy he wouldn't have been able to stop the bad guy in the first place. I'm getting that Scooby Samurai film thing from this one, Shaggy does just as much as him but doesn't get any awards for it, its not fair I tells you Its a good thing Shaggy's such an understanding person. Over all, fun film and I did like the parts where both Shaggy and Scooby helped save people but LOL people filming the situations and putting it on YouTube, made me laugh so hard.

Sounds good. I'm still undecided if I'm going to do a VOD or just wait for the bluray. Right now I'm having a hard time finding 90 minutes that I can dedicate to sitting down and watching it (tiz the season and all that)

I liked it, though the movie did feel like a Adult Swim-esque parody at times. Though I did enjoy the references to previous Hanna-Barbera shows, along with the bit with Scooby-Doo disguised as Dynomutt, complete with realistic rubber mask! (Hmm, I wonder where I can get one of those? )

I just re watched the film again, have to say I don't like the way Velma and Fred were done here. Velma was a bit too mean to Shaggy and Scooby and Fred and both of them had big egos due to the fame they were getting. Taking away Shaggy's comic to pay attention to getting another award is just rude, why should she care what hes doing? What I did like was, Shaggy and Scooby don't change no matter how much fame and awards they get, they are still the same loveable guys and like comics like a lot of people do. Any one else agree with this?

I've only jumped on recently. Blue Falcon was great.. I'd say worth the purchase of the Bluray, make sure you preorder cheaper at Amazon since it is cheaper. Maybe you get a free VOD with it, not sure. It's not on Comcast on demand yet, where i usually see them, but it was alot better VOD on Amazon this time. Comcast always gives me a ratty SD version on demand. EVEN of Camp Scare and the newer ones they did on demand, they did in Standard Def. I liked how they did Velma this time actually. I honestly think they let it be more about Shaggy and Scooby for a change, which is good. I am curious about the upcoming Mechanical Metal Mutt title now. The Phantom could be anything, but i'd love to see it take them overseas again. But, they might do Phantom of the Opera, which has promise, though they might try a musical again. Curse of the Ghost Bear with WWE could be fantastic. WWE does so much work with Make A Wish that, even if you don't have Hogan and Warrior and RockNRoll connection, they have Cena, Rock, and lots of other people who are going to have alot of childhood input into that . I'm hoping they let the wrestlers offer input, they'll be suprised as many of them grew up on scooby and have kids now too. I can almost guarantee Cena and Brodus Clay and CM Punk are among them. All I know is i want to see Mr McMahonn somehow scare the zoinkies out of Shaggy and Scooby , rofl. I'm also just scared it will only be a half hour/20 min event and not a full length. But, we get what we get.

Okay so I'm super duper late to the Blue Falcon party; I honestly didn't even know it existed until I caught it the other day on boomerang theater and decided to DVR it.
I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this was.
The credits were so amazing and I loved the comic convention that paid tribute to so many Hanna-Barbera classics. (It was also a nice play on comic con.)
Shaggy and Scooby are so cute when they're devoted to a cause and I loved how they not only worked hard to clear Owen Garrison's name but accurately portrayed the hero worship that many comic and cartoon fans feel towards their favorite characters.
Much like Be Cool's Grand Scam, everyone found something to like about the comic convention, though I must say that while I loved Daphne's mania over collectable plushies, I didn't enjoy the portrayal of the overly critical Velma. I feel like she was much too mean to Shaggy and Scooby. I also didn't like how it seemed as though Shaggy was just left to the wayside in this. Shaggy's the one who gave Scooby the inspiration to help clear Owen's name but Scooby is the only one who got recognition for it. And since when was a t-shirt a costume? I think it would have been much better to have Shaggy actually dress up as the Blue Falcon and give the duo that nostalgic Commander Cool and Mellow Mutt feel.
Overall I enjoyed the movie but there were things that could have been handled much, much better.

Superheroes + Commentary on Remakes + Scooby-Doo = Scooby-Doo and The Mask of The Blue Falcon. ENJOY!

It would have been better had there turned out to be a real Blue Falcon and Dynomutt.
