SPOILERS**SPOILERS**SPOILERS**SPOILERS**SPOILERS**SPOILERS* READERS ARE WARNED
LAST CHANCE TO TURN BACK
I'M SERIOUS YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE
Alright I think I gave fair enough warning. As I've said I was HIGHLY disappointed but there were some perks. Daphne and Fred get caught smooching in the Mystery Machine, it's about darn time! to many cut seens and Shaggy sings WAY to much. As for Velma I knew it was her when I realized that she was never around...right before they showed the warts, then I knew but not the motive. if I wasn't as distracted(I'm sitting a hyper puppy, who calms down after the movie *grr*) I probably would have caught the motive.
Scooby reacted very simerly as he did in Mystery inc to Shaggy's attraction to Velma. Fred and Daphne break up because Fred thinks they're caual and Daphne thought otherwise. In the end they all decide they should just be friends. My favorite part would have to be when Daphne and Fred get in they're original outfits.
Did anyone else notice the orginal Uhara from star trek at the beginning or is it just me. I'll have to ask Bill when I get it on dvd.

SPOILERS I also saw the cameo by Nichelle Nichols!! I was so hoping she played a bigger part in the movie. I did note the movie was majorly corny yet, I vastly enjoyed this one to Mystery Begins. Making it overly cartoony was what made it corny to me - just like the theatrical ones. But nothing made me cringe luckily. I loved Shaggy's little fantasy singing the chorus to "By the Light of the Silvery Moon". I've always been a nut for songs from 1900-1920. So the fact that he even knew it was so very awesome to this geek who knows no one else who'd like those songs. Fred and Daphne having issues with how they classified their relationship was interesting to see as Shaggy was trying to figure out how to ask out Velma. And Scooby is also possessive of Shaggy in this film. Most big dogs seem to be possessive of their masters so it makes sense for this and the cartoon. His little fantasy shows he feels he will be forgotten if the two get together. It also seemed to me Shaggy liked Velma, while Velma liked the idea that a boy liked her. I guess that's why there weren't any sparks. Not to mention Shaggy had to both ask her out and kiss her in front of the others. And the let's all just be friends part seemed to come out of nowhere to me for some reason. I would have thought they could have come to that conclusion by the first third of the next film. I knew it was Velma since that piece in the beginning where she wasn't there. I forgot they added together the magic/supernatural and masked people angle for these movies so throughout I was wondering Velma's motives for the moon rocks. Heh, then the lady said Velma was possessed and everything was clear. I think I'd like the movie more if there was no supernatural angle. Having a talking dog is enough for me. The end it looks like Scooby really felt left out. I'm betting that's a quick peak at what the third film could be about. Maybe similar to that episode from APNSD where he runs away. When it comes down to it, I enjoyed it despite the corny, and wished there was more mystery into motives rather then it being explained away by supernatural elements. And the gang as a band at the end was a cute nod to how they were supposed to be a musical band in the original series. Oh! I remembered Shaggy was reading a Batman comic as Scooby was painting a line around their room. Looked like Scoob really wanted to fight. Poor pup.

SPOILER!
I was also a bit disapointed, but I liked it. I'd put it about on the level of the first, though not above it. I knew it was Velma from the very beginning. Also, like Mystery Begins, there still wasn't enough Scooby{especally that first half}.

[glow=red] SPOILERS, DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE[/glow]
I thought the movie was just OK. I liked the mystery begins a lot better than this one. I didn't like the Shaggy/Velma thing in the movie. It's bad enough they do it in SD:MI, but it seemed for the first half of the movie, the whole Shaggy/ Velma thing took over the mystery. I didn't hate it, but it could have been better.

Spoilers- it was a good movie but i think it started out strong but just went down hill from there. It was way too obvious it was Velma cuz from the start i guessed bcuz there reactions and that she was missing. Then she kept disappearing when the monster showed up. One last thing, has anybody noticed that in all the movies there have been real monsters, unlike the tv shows.

It was ok. I was disappointed by it. I liked Mystery Begins more. I missed Scooby in this movie. When he was there, he was jealous. It just wan't the Scoob I know and love. And at the end they totally left him out. How sad was that? When they asked him to take a picture, I was concerned that they were leaving him out and didn't get why he couldn't be in it and they get someone else to take the picture. Poor Scooby! This movie seemed to focus on the relationships between Shaggy and Velma and Daphne and Fred more than the mystery. It was rough to watch because it seemed more soap opera like than a mystery movie. Too much bickering and jealousy in the movie.
I did like when Velma and Fred wore their original outfits. I saw them in the background in a couple scenes and thought it was kewl. I'll have to watch the movie again since I just had surgery and was taking pain meds when I saw it last night. I know I faded at one point. Hopefully, everything I wrote in this was from the movie and not a dream haha.

One thing I quickly noticed, was the lack of Scooby, yah know the main character??? I was glad Shaggy and Velma didn't get together here and hope it doesn't happen in the third film either. I'm really hopping the next one is more so about Shaggy and Scooby than any thing else. I did like how they had Fred and Velma try there outfits on, that was nice, they oddly enough kept jealous ScoobyXD Over all, it was ok.

Well, it`s offical, I was dissapointed by this movie as well. Thus, I can keep my opinion that the original live action movies were wayy better. I mean, this movie had its moments I guess. But there wasn`t enough Scooby, I`m now very sick of this romance stuff between the gang, I DO NOT like the actors who play Fred and Daphne in these movies. And the mystery in this movie seemed to just end... do you know what I mean? Was almost like there wasn`t a mystery at all. I hope that this is the LAST live action movie they make with these actors and this style and stuff. I don`t like it.

i thought this movie was decent, definately not the best but not a disaster. There were a couple of funny moments thrown in but overall i kept finding myself saying where's scooby? He just seemed to disappear from the gang without any of the gang members even noticing , i also felt there just didn't seem to be a mystery, it was too obvious it was velma, so instead we ended up with a movie that focused on the gang mostly arguing, i did find the ending pretty funny though, thank you scoobydoobydoooo for uploading it on your website

Hey ultimate scooby fan. Why do you hope they don't make anymore movies with this cast? You do realize that you can turn the channel, I promise. That's stupid because some of us enjoy the movies and cast.

spoilers of sorts ahead
Not enough scooby, too many kisses, not enough of a solid story line, too obvious a villan, shoddy ending and too many parts seemed to come out of no where. shaggy and velma as a pair should never have been touched in this movie, it was a waste of time where they could have been focusing on the storyline, the daphne fred thing could have been handled differently too, boyfriend/girlfriend territory was entered and left too suddenly, I mean its expected of them to hook up sooner or later but to just throw them in the deep end straight up and then pull them out almost immediately then basically saying that its never going to happen was just like, weird. it seemed too thrown together with bits here and there cut scene after cut scene was just twisted and scooby being left out, unless theres going to be a sequel in a week or two movies should not be left with cliffhangers, everything should be tied up (especially in a movie aimed at kids) in a fan friendly, easy to swallow, concern free happy package that leaves you going man i wanna see that again not well im confused and that ending was the pinnacle of LAME, I would have rather seen scoobys scrapbook at the end with the main credits with a happy song with smiling pictures and a we're all great friends (including scooby) and no ones left out sort of feel, with the hippy song scene with the rest of the credits. I hope the do another one that fixes this one up asap, those movies normally make me feel like smiling for the next week but that one left me feeling terrible no one got what they really wanted. and the scene at the very start should have been cut out, the movie would have flown better without it, it only served as a spoiler for the bad guy (even I picked out who it was and Ive never been able to figure out who was behind any of the mysteries) although I liked the door chase scene and I actually have warmed up to the cast the rest was just bad. it wouldn't have taken much to have written a better storyline, put five die hard fans who write fanfiction together and im sure they could have written a better one in half the time with half the cash. just to recap I dint 100% hate it but they need an awesome 5th movie to make up for the lameness that this one was. I was soooooooo excited too, way to crush someones faith in the live action movies guys.
wait just realized i dont have the credits is scoobys scrapbook there?

Hey ultimate scooby fan. Why do you hope they don't make anymore movies with this cast? You do realize that you can turn the channel, I promise. That's stupid because some of us enjoy the movies and cast. I think the actor who plays Shaggy does a pretty good job and velma isn`t that bad either. I just don`t like the actors for Fred or Daphne. I watch the movies to give my honest opinion and review. I have every right to give my opinion on the movie cuz there may or may not be people who agree with me.(And quite frankly, A LOT of people agree with my points ) I have been a scooby fan for over 10 years, of course I watch every scooby show or movie that comes out. If I don`t like, I don`t like it. I will always be a hardcore fan of the original Scooby-Doo Where are you? cartoon.

'Twas an okay movie--nothing the Emmy committee would notice. Hayley Kiyoko's take on Velma here was very endearing.
Looking forward to the two animated DVD releases for 2011--Scooby Doo and the Football Ghost and Go West, Scooby Doo!
