Got it from The Television Without Pity forum, and without giving it away, is apparently THE wildest SD:MI episode ever! SO many things are happening!! If you want to read the plot for yourselves, go right ahead, but truth be told, it'll blow your minds! It did mine! I CANNOT wait for it!!

Quick update! I discovered that there's a tiny little review up on Youtube (punch in the title). The author's still uploading, or something. Warning: It's backwards.

That was a really cool episode! I can't wait for Episode 26! Also, I was surprised that the Jonny Quest gang made a cameo!

Yessir, what an episode! I want to see it forward, though. Quick question: Is Alice May the first-ever TWO villain character? Also, it's clear the gang never checked out her fake story after "The Legend of Alice May". I actually feel sorry for Angel. She's going to have to really make up for it somehow to the gang, possibly in the final episode. Mr. E has some serious moolah, it appears, and Questcorp?! In this universe, Jonny Quest exists?! Huzzah! Quite an episode!

What a difference seeing real hair color makes!
1) Brad Chiles is not Mayor Jones. With his blond hair with orange streaks revealed there is no longer anything in common in their appearances.
1) Judy really looks like Fred Jone's Jr.'s mother now. But would she ever have been Mayor Jone's wife or lover? I say her child was taken from her to be used as a hostage against her and Brad, the true parents, by the Mayor.
2) It looks like Fred Sr. is part of the group that threatened the old Mystery Inc. until they had to leave town. I wish I could believe he was the Freak of Crystal Cove as well, but he doesn't have the scrawny neck for the part.
3) I now seriously doubt the identity of Mr. E. Ricky had brown hair, not black, and he was the team screw-up, not a mastermind. People can change and dye their hair, but..

Is it just me or does the Freak of Crystal Cove have the exact same voice as the Cicada Monster?

Is the "treasure map" the old MI discovered the same one the Mayor is studying here, in "Menace of the Manicore"? This looks bad for Fred Jones, Sr. The old MI found the map, showed it to someone who looks like him from the back, and soon after they were forced out of town by the Freak. Now the Mayor has it, and he still studies it when he gets the opportunity. If he's not the Freak, he may have hired someone to be him.

This makes a lot of sense. Sort of, but I'd rather see a solution that didn't depend too heavily on those magic rubber masks the Scooby-Doo world has always had. It's become too phony, like the ending of SD2: MU. Major Jones would have to be wearing a mask constantly for years, even in the middle of the night. Fred Jr. would have to be completely oblivious to this (all right, that part's not so difficult).

I think the next episode will involve Angel reuniting the original Mystery Incorporated to stop the gang from finding The Freak and going into the caves.
We still haven't figured out why Pericles and Ricky/Mr E are after the treasure and why they are at loggerheads with each other.

-So Fred and Daphne are getting engaged in a couple of months?! But aren't they still in high school?! This just doesn't sit right with me... . Well, from what I understand, when Fred proposed, Daphne said "you mean after we graduate, right?" And given what happened in this episode, I think that she meant they get engaged after they graduate instead of married. So, that means they're graduating in a couple of months, so they'd get engaged in a couple of months. It's like a promise ring, or whatever you want to call it. Guaranteed engagement.

Pericles probably turned on Ricky for either (a) coveting the treasure (avarice will do crazy things to people, even the best of friends), or (b) Pericles didn't take kindly to the Ricky/Angel* relationship much in the same way Scooby didn't approve of Shaggy and Velma's. Of course, Scooby showed some contrition over his role in messing that up, so given that Pericles has some sort of stake in this treasure hunt, I'll go with (a).

(Checks imaginary watch on my wrist) Hmmm...it seems it's taking a little bit longer than usual for Episode 25 to appear on the Watch Cartoons site. Doesn't an episode usually appear by Sunday night, or Monday morning? (Barely-detectable uneasy chuckle with a grin) You don't think CN's tried to attempt to block them, do you?
