Bah! All the better! You both forgot that the show's even on earlier, too! Who needs prime time, anyway?

First post here, but I've just watched most of the show over the past week or so. I'm not caught up entirely, but I genuinely liked this episode. The hick jokes were amusing but gold old quickly, but what I did appreciate is Hot Dog Water's return as a villainess. I was also pretty fond of the "DON'T LOOK AT ME, I'm HIDEOUS" Guy and the expansion on the Conquistadors. I'm kind of glad that the ghost showed up and that the curse may indeed be supernatural.

Just saw this ep tonight. Really cool. The ghost was pretty freaky. I won't bother making predicions as I'm sure most of you have seen all the remaining eps by now. Anxious to see more though.
I think the "don't look at me I'm hideous" guy was a take on the old Twilight Zone episode. The Munsters used to do the same gag with Miriam.
I actually thought the villain might have been Judy at first. The Conquistadors back story is certainly a welcome addition. Can't wait to find out more, and the story behind the name Crystal Cove was a cool revelation.

Wasn't it Marilyn, not Miriam? I might be wrong, it's been forever since I've seen the show.

You are correct Doo, it is Marilyn. (I've been slowly working my way through the complete Munsters series DVD boxset over the last few weeks...I'm on pace to finish up right around Halloween)

I don't think it was a reference so much as the irony of his plight was incredibly hilarious.

I found him hilarious too. It was fun to see Fred jealous. The ghost reminded me of Pirates of the Carribean. Oh and the hideous guy? He was voiced by the voice actor for Johnny Bravo!

Ugly Jimmy was so funny at the end: "They call me Hansome Jimmy now! What do you say, Daph?"
