By the way, Scooby took Brad and Judy's dog from them, too, his "girlfriend". I wonder if this means we'll start seeing her with The Gang. Isn't it interesting how Shaggy doesn't feel threatened by her like Scooby was with Velma?
He seemed pretty put out when Scooby was hanging around with Nova in Hodag. Mind you Shagggy's been taking some lessons at the school of hard knocks, he knows what he put Velma through.
Hm. I think I should have put it another way: Scooby's not considering how Shaggy feels. Scooby's only thinking about his own needs, and not Shaggy's like Shaggy did with Scooby after Shaggy dumped Velma for Scooby. Too bad Luna wasn't around when Shaggy and Velma were together. I suspect with her there, Shaggy and Velma would have still been together because Luna would have taken Scooby's attention away from Shaggy and Velma.
Yeah, I don't plan on reading more of it. I sure wish that these episodes would be uploaded faster, though... I always end up a day or two behind >w<
Episode 38's on Amazon and Itunes for $2.99, but they both call it "Where Stalks the Scarebear" instead of "Scarebear."
Thanks! I just finished watching Scarebear and this episode on there!
And damn... I have to agree with all of you, this episode was awesome! All the unexpected twists totally blew me away- I thought maybe the pieces were a fake, but I had no idea their plan would be that elaborate. Or that they were technically the monster! But then again, that's Freddy for ya...
I can't wait for Heart of Evil to come out online now!
Here's a little something interesting for everyone... screenshots of Velma's book about Krampus where you can read what it has to say.
Some funny stuff there, but I wonder if it's significant that the book mentions the possibility that Krampus might have inherited his powers (knowing when kids are bad or good) from aliens that visited Earth thousands of years ago and that he might even be a hybrid of an alien and an earth animal. It's in the final paragraph of the first scan. Some words are cut off but you get the meaning (plus the facing page on each scan is the same text, so you can look for more words as Velma's head moves in the scene.)
Nibiru and Krampus both mentioning aliens in the same episode. Very interesting, indeed.
You're welcome. The pages also make me wonder if The Benevolent Lodge of Mystery may have investigated/been interested in the Krampus. Nothing concrete, but it's interesting that scientists of the early Victorian era (1850s) were investigating his good/bad radar. TBLOM were late Victorian (1880s). If this has all happened before, TBLOM could have been investigating a mystery from the generation before them just like Mystery Inc. investigating the disappearance of the first Mystery Inc. Add in Krampus's connection to aliens. Also Frau Gluck would be of Germanic origin and therefore would have grown up with tales of Krampus. There could be a connection there as well.

So this episode is great. The Krampus is hilarious (although I guessed that Charlie had been modified). OH MY GOD. Fred tricking the original Mystery Inc. is great! SO GREAT! Fred is so naive and oblivious to so much ,but just as in how he managed to disarm the bomb to the last possible second with a trap, Fred now uses his planning skills to the max. I love it. I also loved all the cameos to older villains, plus Charlie the Haunted Robot playing into everything, it's all great. Such a good episode. I'm also pretty fond of the trap the gang used in the old toy factory. It reeked of classic Scooby-Doo traps (that I recall anyhow).
This episode aired in Greece today. First time I watched it, I was staring at the screen like those guys:
This time, I almost laughed! The new Mystery Incorporated tricked the old! For a change...And their plan was brilliant and quite elaborate!! The scenes in the toy factory were uber creepy! It's probably one of my favorite episodes!!!

i started watching this show yesterday when i got a fever, and am now just finished this episode, i can't believe how much i'm into it. i don't think i would like it as much if the underlying mystery of the old mystery incoperated wasn't intergrated in the show, but with it, it makes it one of the most interesting things i've ever watched! also, how could fred trust the ex mayor to hold the pieces without taking them for himself? i know he's in jail, but it's hard for people to change that quickly.

I loved this episode. The use of Krampus wad unique and interesting. I loved the way professor Pericles pronounced Krampus. I loved the throwback by using Charlie the Robot and the plot twist was amazing.
