Sigh--I wonder if you saw it, Scooby Addict... Ok, so much for willpower LOL! I watched this episode my kids. I liked it a lot! I liked that Scooby and Professor Pericles worked together to save the gang from the "spell" they were under. Wondering what side Professor Pericles is on. Gemstone had some great observations!

Has anyone noticed the similarities between the kids at the present day high school and the crowd in the stadium vs the kids fake crowning Aphrodite in the flashback? I took screen shots and compared them from the past kids to the present crowd. They match exactly without a single change - no aging at all. Crystal Cove residents just don't age???

Just a theory, but I think Angel Dynamite left town for a while and then came back. Others in the town have their time away from the town as well, but when they make it back - time slows down for their aging process.
I believe she is Angel is Cassidy Williams, and I think she has something to hide, possibly guilt because she is not with the rest of the gang. This is why she is deceiving SDMI.

Just saw this one last night on CN. Loved it. She has to be one of the creepiest looking SD villains ever.
I'm glad Pericles finally came out of hiding. The mystery is getting very interesting. I love his accent by the way. Have a hard time placing it, but it's interesting.
Looking forward to tonight's new ep.

Now that CN is getting close to airing the final episodes, I decided to go back and rewatch the most recent "Mr. E" mystery oriented episodes, starting with this one.
Just to recall all the Mr. E clues.
Maybe this becomes more apparent in later episodes, but after rewatching this one I couldn't help but feel the plot was a little contrived. I mean, why did Pericles need to 'stage' the whole Aphrodite thing to get the maps, drillbit, and surveys that he needed? My first thought was that...being a bird...he physically needed help. But in the flashback sections we see him secretly getting the stuff himself while Scooby is getting the antidote materials. Why did he need Scoob in the first place, unless maybe to carry the stuff in the backpack? It's not like Scoob had some special access to the locations, except maybe the museum.
The only thing I can think of was that he hid the things in the backpack, and then maybe Angel took them from there, and the two are secretly working together which...as of The Headless Horror, the last ep I've seen...hasn't been revealed yet. Angel did sorta disappear mysteriously after rescuing the gang with the van, and then shows back up again to trap Aphrodite.
Maybe this is made clear by season's end for all you who've skipped ahead, but it almost seemed like this particular episode was contrived just to bring back Pericles, without necessarily making sense.
Or maybe I'm missing a major point somewhere. Without spoilers, let me know if that's the case.
Suspending disbelief otherwise though, this was a really fun and creepy episode!

I enjoyed this episode most because of Mr. P. Parrot. He was somewhat curious as to a bird with a big Tweetie pie sized head. Also, i thought the bad girl was well.. good-ish. if she wanted to get back to your peers back at school just turn up in a hot outfit at your High School Reunion looking smokin'! (i don't live in America so i don't get these type of things.)

At first I thought "OK, love can't be that spooky". But I was so totally scared by eveyone turning into love zombies!! Pericles' return was really enjoyable, even if he did use Scooby...

Just finished this episode and was wondering if there was a specific reason Pericles (I totally spelled that wrong, oh well) and Scooby weren't affected by the "love potion". But I guess we really can just chalk it up to "They're animals".
Anyway, always loved this episode. Definitely one of my favorites, between the villain being from Greek mythology, the motive being influenced by Carrie, and the spotlight on Scooby especially. Also love Fred's "I don't need Aphrodite's spell to care about you." to Saphne. It's a sweet moment.
