Heh--seems like Velma's still ticked off at Shaggy for his choosing Scooby over her. Yes! Continuality rules!

Spoilers! (WARNING) Yessir, called it right there! Velma's still angry at Shaggy! Man, I keep loving this series because of the continuality! Daphne's mother's friend being the vampire didn't surprise me, like several other eps so far. No, like those other eps, the mystery itself took a back seat to the gang's personal problems, something else I love about the series. Fred really was off his game trap-wise here. Good thing Scooby saved the day. Heh--the look of "blood" that Fred had on him was pretty funny, being fruit punch instead. The constant Running Gag of Daphne's mother being the vampire from Fred was hilarious, with Daphne believing in the end as well made it even more funny. Loved the book continually coming off the shelf for Daphne, who kept putting it back. Finally, Mr. E's henchman had to whisper it out to her from behind the shelf that she NEEDED the book! Hello, Daphne! Mystery Inc. splitting up in the end to go back home was obviously omnious, though Scooby's encouragement to a depressed Shaggy that everything would work out in the end was nice. I wonder: Is Scooby genuinely aware of the sacrifice Shaggy made for him? I sure he has to. Boy, Velma sure seems old-fashioned, doesn't she? She wears a bikini, but under her familiar outfit, just about the same for her prom dress. Yet she was a liberated woman when it came to liking Shaggy. Contradictions, indeed. I still feel sorry for her. Oh, well...

I don't think that was punch Fred "drank". Punch wouldn't smear like it did when he touched his face. Not to mention I think that's why he was told to get out "freakwad", because he thought the bags of blood hanging around were punch. You know I was never fond of Fred, yet this series makes me love him. Daphne trying to put the book back repeatedly was funny. I also got a kick of their French disguises. Just goes to show you at the end of the day, they are just kids. Kind of how Sheriff Stone also suspected Mrs. Blake. The adults are capable of thinking things out, jut care about that stream of revenue more. I wonder how close that university museum was to their homes. I assume Daphne went back with her mom. Just surprised the others didn't get a ride home too. Did anyone get a preview for next week or are they seriously going on another break?

I liked the episode. The fruit punch thing was funny, and I guessed the vampire was Sheila right away. Can't wait for "The Shrieking Madness!"

Really? I'll have to go back and check that out. I know Don Knotts provided the painting, right?

Frustrated!!! We have a house guest sleeping in the same room that the DVR is hooked up in, and I haven't been able to watch this one yet! Didn't get to watch it live Monday night. Hope to by Friday. Arrgghh.

Forgot one thing, did any notice Cass Elliott in the audience at the art show? Saw her. ;D They're really going all-out with the early 70's themes flavored with the New Scooby Doo Movies in this series, aren't they? (Don't forget the Batman crossover)

Just watched the episode now. Another mystery where I figured who the villian was pretty easy. lol. But, none the less I really liked it. The vampire was quite creepy. Makes me sad that the gang seems to be falling apart abit.

I just watched the ep and really liked it, I am worried that the gang might break up, but that would only last for a little while. I think fred was so funny in this epiosde, When he was teasing velma, I couldn't stop laughing, and I was thinking, haha Velma, in my head. One of my fave so far (I have said that about all the episodes I think) I also think Shaggy might wasnt to get back with Velma. I also liked how the spotlight was on Daphne a bit more than usual. Fred seemed a bit mean in this ep though, getting a bit worried about that.
Can't wait for next epiosde ;D

Ok, so I just saw the episode and boy am I glad Shaggy choose Scooby over Velma she's mean man blah. The ending was a bit sad but meh like Scooby said, sure things will work out in the end. I do hope Shaggy doesn't get back together with Velma though, they should just be friends from now on, trying to see if that relationship is possible is fine but clearly things showed that they were bad as a couple. So right now they should try and work on there friendship. I'm curious, does the next episode take place after this one? Cuz there broken up aren't they? Or are they just coming together at the wrong times to solve different things? Don't know why Shaggy and Scooby would be there? Unless they said food was involved LOL.
