i can't like the producer. i mean, the show he made was...ok....but (if it isn't the thing, that i can't understand everything of that interview) he tells things.....grrrrrr.....
sorry, but i have to make a list of the things, i couldn't like....(that can take a long time)
"For starters, as the title implies, the series revolves around the mostly clueless Great Dane and his even more clueless "pal" Shaggy."
none of them, shaggy or scooby are clueless. they're not the smartest, okay, but they are definitely not clueless...
why is the word pal in inverted commas? shaggy is scooby's pal. that's a fact.
"Fred, Velma, Daphne and the original Mystery Machine occasionally make guest appearances."
wow.....two episodes with "real" appearances of Fred, Velma and Daphne and one with the good old mystery machine....well, that are rarely guests....
(why did they even changed the mystery machine's look? they could let it like it was always. and i think, the other gang members could have more appearances. for example, at Shaggy's and Scooby's dedication party in "party arty"....)
"So, to paraphrase the now Bill Gates-rich young Mr. Shaggleford, 'Zoinks! We're like gaziillionaires Scoob!'" "
Shaggy's second name isn't Shaggleford.......or did they also change that???
"I found their roles (Fred, Velma and Daphne) in our version would only serve to drag down the energy we planned to create for the new series."
drag down energy ?? Fred, Velma and Daphne ?? never ever..... they could have so funny episodes with them....
"We also have really pushed the physical comedy of the characters."
they did
"I wanted the series to reflect the graphics of the day."
you should not have done that
"Shaggy is just a little bit smarter and Scoob tends to reflect a bit more of his canine origins."
the fact, that Scooby never really act like a dog, gave the old series their "special touch"....
"We have made our best effort to respect the old and attempted to contribute something new."
well, your best is quite bad...
"It's a buddy comedy, it's a knock down drag out action series, it has the excitement and challenge of a video game, all blended together with very strong characters and solid stories."
wow, all these things... the only things that are missing, are the real Scooby characters........
well, as i said in the beginning, the show was okay, but i can't like that guy. does he even know Scooby, Shaggy and the rest of the gang
i know, that was long. but i had to say this....
