The worst is the first live action film by 100%. I despise that piece of "cinema". I didn't like the Mystery Begins either, the other two were better but the Lake Monster's plot and acting were silly. I think a lot of the DTV recently have been lacking a lot of creativity. I don't think there has been a DTV since Witch's ghost were I've been on the edge of my seat. Don't get me wrong some of them have been quite good, but on the most part I think they're lacking. I agree with the rest of you WN was better in small doses and 72 minute movies didn't suit the writers that well. I really don't like the animation of the new films and some instances to make the characters more "grown up" are plain right stupid or annoying, that Daphne kiss or generic hot person in camp scare.

I despise the more recent DTV films for one reason: Fraphne. They have so much potential with what could be interesting plots, but they make Fred and Daphne so OOC and just ruin the characters. I can't stand Daphne being a love sick idiot obsession over Fred, and Fred being a no-personality, trap-obsessed freak isn't helping. Grey's voice performance as Daphne also really brings down the quality of the characters and movie. I just wish she'd go for a more mature take on the character like Heather did. From what I've seen, "Stage Fright" has had the worst of it. The characters and movies just pale in comparison to what Scooby-Doo used to be about: subtly, and light-hearted meaningful humor. It be fine if they did it once or twice, but the fact they do it in half of them really makes no sense. Surly there's no need to make another film that starts their relationship why not start it already. Your analysis also brings up the fact not a single person in the film department knows how to write Daphne or Fred. Think about it has there ever been an instance where they were like their original selves? I'd say the only thing we have is Zombie Island/Witch's Ghost for Fred, but he doesn't do much except have crushes on the other women present.

I Disagree with putting Boo Brothers in there. Boo Briothers was possibly that best Scooby fil;m with Shaggy in it.

OF course everyone has their opinion. But most of the time you want consesus on that opinion. ie Everyone agreed Arabian Nights stinks.

OF course everyone has their opinion. But most of the time you want consesus on that opinion. ie Everyone agreed Arabian Nights stinks. I actually talked to someone on Twitter the other day who said they liked Arabian Nights. Of course they said they were judging it as a Hanna-Barbera "crossover" film (which is what gave me the idea for the thread I made a few weeks ago).

Yeah, there's not supposed to be 'Your Momma' jokes and other kind of juvenile trash in scooby. They were breaking the rules pretty early then. I think the Joker did a "Your Momma" on Scooby back in TNSDMovies.

I may not have watched them all, not even Arabian Nights for which I haven't heard the best comments. But so far, no movie has been a disappointement for me. Perhaps I did not love them all, but surely I enjoyed them! I 'LIKE' everything made for Scooby Doo except Arabian Nights. I wouldn't even wipe up Scooby's poop with paper towels with Arabian Nights prints, or even the original drawings from it for that matter, because it would defile Scooby Doo's poop to use such poor quality product to clean up his refuse. I'd create Arabian Nights serving trays with a trap door for rope to serve in prisons to serial killers hold up in solitary confinement to drive them over the edge. In the trap door, a note saying this is the ultimate torture, no rope for you. I can't deal with Arabian Nights, I think it's THAT bad! It's just a animated movie. It isn't going to bite you.

bad movies bring out the worst in people. For instance i LOVE the Lion King, but i HATE with a fiery passion Lion King II.bad Songs predictable plot cliched ending, and his daughters a spoiled brat who learns absolutely nothing about responsibility, trust, and the consequences of her actions during the entire film. Really REALLY bad films, like Batman and Robin can shelve entire genres of film, it took 8 years after Batman and robin for another Batman film to come out- Batman Begins.

I know, it's just that when people really get going on stuff like that it's funny. You'd be hardpressed to see someone talking like that IRL (Well, sometimes) The internet is a safe haven for all kinds of opinions because it's easier to speak up with some kind of protective anonymity. (Hey, that gives me an idea) As for Lion King II...well, different strokes for different folks.
