I do have these (and have been wanting to do some significant writing about all the scooby action figures over the years) Yes, these are based off the mystery inc designs. Some of the sculpts are off (Daph especially), but it's a good set. I recommend that you purchase in a store to look over paint jobs on the sets before buying...I've seen some with pretty sloppy applications. They have 9 points of articulation each, so don't expect them to be the most poseable toys (in general) out on the market.

Joe as far as poseability goes, but I would have bought SD:MI stuff even if they were just static pieces of plastic. I'll try to buy these in person, but the nearest TRU is pretty far away. Thanks for the warning though! I'd love for them to make some SD:MI monsters to accompany these guys.

SDMI monsters would be Kewl! I wish they had more SDMI related toys.

There is a set that I've seen on eBay...I think it's only available in the UK right now, that has these exact mystery inc versions of the gang but also includes several rereleases of of a few classic villain figures that were originally made by equity toys.

I just brought this set the other day. The Velma and Daphne figures look weird, but the other three are fine.
