Not having seen the episode the mental coin-toss I did just said YES, the Conquistador was a real ghost.

Why a villain would go through the trouble when no one would be looking just to monologue, I don't know other than for it to be a gimmick of a tv cliff-hanger mystery as written in the script.  |

hes obviously a real ghost you dont disappear like that if you are a fake.,. No, you don't. I bet that's why the treasure is cursed. That ghost probably stalks anyone getting close to the treasure. The skeleton ghost will meet with the gang soon. Daphne even said at the end "Why do I get the feeling the 6th piece will come to us soon?", so that's definitely foreshadowing to an episode soon. |

I agree. Why else would they call it "The Haunted Treasure?" The name could be based off superstition, and someone could be faking a ghost to play off the name and the superstition. Besides, this is Scooby-Doo...the treasure would never be called something like "Happy-go-lucky-easy-to-find-treasure" ;D Of course its a "spooky Haunted" named thing anyway, chalk me up in the "Ghost is a fake" column |
