Oh. I have seasons 1-4, and season 5 (which is actually The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show). And I have seasons 1 and 2 of The Scooby-Doo Show.
I'm hoping they will release season 6 of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (which would actually be The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries) so that I can finally see the rest of those episodes!

Yabba's okay, he's a little corny for me. I don't mind him though.
I've only seen two episodes with him at the moment though: "Mine Your Own Business" and "Yabba's Rustle Hustle."

Yabba-Doo and Sheriff Dusty are starting to grow on me. Scrappy feels like he fits in more with those two than he ever did with Shaggy and Scooby.

Does anyone else think that Shaggy and Dusty are related? I thought it was implied that Dusty was related to Shaggy the same way Yabba is related to Scooby, but after looking it up I can't find anything that says they are related.

I watched an episode or two, yah wasn't a fan of either characters or plot. I was confused why they added them, I assumed it was an experiment to try for a spin off of some sort but it didn't worked out due to lack of ratings and popularity on the characters.

You know what's funny? Joe Ruby and Ken Spears actually contributed to these shorts but I once listened to an interview with them where they confused Yabba with Scooby-Dum. Really goes to show how pointless all of Scooby's relatives are.

I personally think having segments involving just Scrappy are pointless. Especially if they are set in the Wild West. I think this idea of having wild west segments may have been in the wake of the success of movie westerns during the 1960s and early 1970s, and popularity of movie westerns were in decline by 1982, if I remember correctly.
I agree, I wouldn't have had a problem with these Yabba-Doo segments if Scooby and/or Shaggy were involved, but to have a full segment with Scrappy and no Scooby involved, I never cared for them myself. And, as I said before, I don't hate Scrappy. I care more for the storylines when it comes to Scooby-Doo or any cartoon series for that matter.
In "The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour", I only watch it just for the "Scooby and Scrappy-Doo" segments, but when the "Scrappy and Yabba-Doo" segments come on, I devote those seven minute periods to other interests, since I am not a fan of recurring segments regularly set in the Wild West.
